I received a new PM 2 from Amazon that looked like it had a chip on the edge of the metal liner under the G10 scales so I sent it back. Just got a replacement for the fake paramilitary 2 and the differences are so obvious once you put the two up next to each other and start comparing. The real one's G10 scales are much courser and the camo pattern on the fake doesn't extend around to the corners of the G10. Of course the metal liner...

I contacted the vendor - Defender Outdoors - about the fake and they said the item they sent to Amazon to send to me was a genuine Spyderco knife but that Amazon mixes inventories with other vendors and so i may have got a fake one from another vendor's inventory. Here is the barcode label that was on the box for the paramilitary 2 I bought from on Amazon from a vendor called Defender Outdoors, LLC who has 98% positive reviews and quite a few of them.

By the way, I guess the most obvious sign of it being a fake is the barcode label. Looks nothing like the labels seein videos. Doesn't even say paramilitary 2 on the label.
