Re: Collection Limiting Rules

That calculation might not work well as re-sale price will be lower than original purchase price. But its a hobby and as long as all bills are paid - enjoy l(kn)ife. :) I buy users that I will EDC - Para 3 and Dfly Special knives - Wolfspyder or McBee Special steels - LC200N Waterway Special things ...

I have the Para 3 - perfect out of the box. Megasharp and free dropping.

I vote for lil native and native 5.

Used a folding knife to baton wood for the fireplace in winter. Had then massive blade play.
It was no Spyderco.

Re: Recommendations on easy sharpener

Use a sharpie to see what's going on.
Invest in diamond or CBN - they are way faster.

Try it on a kitchen knife to get some training.

Re: Yojimbo vs PM2 durability

If it's more self defense I would go with the yojimbo.
PM2 is a great knife.
Both are excellent and good joices.

If you use it for what a knife is designed (cutting) they will hold up well.
If you abuse you might switch for a new one from time to time or switch to a fix blade.

I am in.
I want to have a linerlock knife in the Para 3 size. This is exactly that.
G10 is always good. Maxamet even better.

Maybe price will not be that nice...

I hope LC200N will also be available in other colors than green.

Some yellow would be nice, black too.

I think agreeing here on one model, steel, ... is nearly impossible.
Many throw in there dream knife.

If it's not a backlock with no Spyderedge it will survive not long ;)

90%: Right front pocket, not clipped

Summer and holiday / in shorts: Right front pocket or cargo pocket right, mostly clipped

Holiday abroad: front pocket or slingbag
I do not want that someone knows I carry a knife. It's legal here but people are people...

A new C-01 Worker with a supersteel blade would certainly get my attention.

Re: Advice for new knife designers

I would start small. First with a fix blade. Get ergos right. Handle shape, sharpening, heat treat,... Maybe start with a wood model first. A knife is tiny and a few mm off can make a hugh difference. Precision is important. Learn and evolve. What's the benefit of your knife lock? What is better tha...

Re: Para 3 LW w/ spy27

It was the one of the first SPY27 knives out there, maybe the first with this new steel. People were/are extremely interested in that steel. It's a Para 3 which is very popular. I missed the REX45 sprint run of the Para 3. It came out a fews weeks before the SPY27. Therefore, I made sure to get one ...

Re: New model ideas

Lil Manix - similar to Mini Griptilian.

Folding steak knife - if you rest the knife on table and plate it should have a stable stand. Used py Para 3 LW but the clip made it unstable and it slipped/flipped many times.
