Lower the hump for the deployment hole. It still sticks up too far for me. Wire clip. Wharncliffe would be nice. Love the FFG.

ZDP-189 Question

Greetings fellow Forumites,

Thinking about picking up a Manbug in ZDP-189. I have no experience with the steel. With all Spydies I assume the edge retention is without question. How difficult is this steel to resharpen?

Does anybody without a lock restriction choose to carry a slipjoint? I do too. Removed the clip from my Pingo and carry it as a "pocket knife." In agreement with Yuldeli on the second glance issue. I love the build quality of the Maniago Spydies. Fantastic utilitarian folder. The blade I ...

Any Decision on...

The G10 Kiwi concept model? I'm very interested in this one. I would definitely buy this version if it went into production.

All these bright handle colors. So much for a discreet carry knife.

Balance

Hello fellow Forumites,

I need a favor. I'm considering picking up a Balance. I understand it is a small knife. Would someone be so kind as to post a size comparison picture for me. Say a Delica 4 or any Sage would do.

Thanks in advance! I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for the info! While I like the SS and Etched handled Crickets, they're a little too thin for my large hands. I liked the thicker handle of the FRN model. Hopefully the new one will have a similar thickness.

Just wondering if there had been anymore thought to bringing this version of the cricket back. I carried mine for years as my back-up edc. Used it all the time. I sent it in to SFO for a repair and it didn't come back. Failed some test. I have missed that one everyday since.

Gbelleh,

For the reason you've stated, that's why I won't buy one of these. Nothing to stop your finger from making contact with the blade. The first time after I cut myself, I'd have a very expensive letter opener.

Of all the colored (or lack of color) variants that have come out recently, it was the white ones I was most interested in. I'm just sorry I missed the oppurtunity to pick one or more up.

I have to agree with dbcad, my Leaf Urban is an ideal cutter for most of my needs and goes with me almost everywhere. I'd love to get the wharncliffe version, the only thing stopping me is the orange scales. If only it too came in the green.
