Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
Unfortunate and very sad to see the owner of Omaha Knife has passed away. The owner, family, and employees were always very helpful and friendly. Condolences to all off them. The Facebook page for the store has more information and some discount codes, as they are selling off the current inventory p...

Re: What are your thoughts on Spyderco's Peel-ply Carbon Fiber?
I am not a big fan of the look of CF peel-ply laminate, although its is grippy. I prefer textured g10 as the base Spyderco option for non-lightweight knives. I do very much like the execution of full carbon fiber options like the Kapara and Manix 2 Cruwear carbon fiber exclusive, previously made for...

Re: Lil'Kapara anticipation thread
I own and love both versions. The blade length just over 3.5 inches makes me nervous to carry much where I currently live. I know that isn't an issue for a lot of folks but why I normally stick to carrying knives with blades obviously less than 3.5 inches. I would be on board for a smaller bladed Ka...

Re: Mule Team quantity discussion
I really like the idea of a preorder system...even if the lead time is longer. I think it greatly simplifies the interest gauge for a particular steel for Spyderco. I am also ok with Spyderco saying a steel has to reach a certain preorder threshold before they commit to making the mules. If a steel ...

Re: Anybody else have this problem ordering from the Spyderco website
I had a different unfortunate series of events happen. To be clear, the situation was My fault, but it left me disappointed with my attempted purchasing experience from the Spyderco website. I completed my order for the SPY27 mule and received a confirmation email. Unfortunately, about a half an hou...

Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
Antimicrobial?...Yep. Microbes can remain viable on steel for long periods, but copper releases ions that poke holes in microbes such as bacteria and also destroy viruses at the molecular level. So...this knife is a knife, and the handle of this knife releases many tiny ionic knives. Meta? Heavy?......

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)
Just got one NIB on ebay for just below MAP. Not my normal route but couldn't spend the money when it originally came out. I know she is going to be an excellent slicer. My first big impression though is something I didn't expect...I really dig the scale pattern on the scales...grippy but not bitey....

Re: What stores in western Washington have a good Spyderco selection?
Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabelas carry a few but I doubt the ones you are looking for. A few of the online retailers have pretty good return policies, as long as you don't use the knife before returning it.

Re: Lil Native what shall be the 1st Sprint?
I love the sprint ideas, but I guess I am just really looking forward to the production DLC coated serrated version. I am normally not a DLC fan but my bet is the DLC serrated is going to look super cool.

Re: Help me build out my spydie wishlist
You seem to like smaller knives so I suggest the Delica Hap40 pakkawood KC exclusive. Each blade and handle will be slightly different, so you get a unique but factory knife. I also suggest the ladybug serrated hawkbill...it will make you want more hawkbills.
