Re: What are my options to repair Kapara? I opened it from the D shaped pivot sleeve side, out of round with bushing.
The d-shape is merely to prevent the barrel from spinning.. you still need a screw in each side right??
You should be able to remove both screws from the pivot.

It's all one piece, like a D shaped Chicago screw. Applying torque is the equivalent of trying to make a hollow ...

What are my options to repair Kapara? I opened it from the D shaped pivot sleeve side, out of round with bushing.
I got a lot of dust and dirt in my kapara and it was significantly affecting the opening/closing action. So i sat down yesterday to open it up to clean and re-lube the pivot area. When I went to put it all back together it was difficult to get the bushing back on the D shaped bolt sleeve of the ...

Re: Lil Native dilemma
I finally got mine a few days ago. I had been anticipating this knife ever since the first rumors! For me, the Dragonfly to Delicate, size range is the sweet spot and the lil native is right in there.
I do wish the blade were a lot thinner, like the Dfly or chapparal. Just seems to make sense on a ...

Re: Spyderco 2017 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Anyone know the latest or best estimate for the time frame when the first (compression lock, iirc) lil native will be available? Is it an exclusive for certain dealers or will it be generally available?

Re: Popular support for another full-sized Jess Horn in super steel?
How long of a blade does the full size have? I like the design but the current sprint is too small for me. The GB2 is a good slim profile design.
I believe the full sized model has a 3.1" blade. 90% sure but I'm guessing someone will be along shortly if that's not correct. Overall, I think it's a ...

Popular support for another full-sized Jess Horn in super steel?
I love the Jess Horn models. By far my favorite Spydercos and my favorite overall across brands. So many Spyderco knives are too fat/tall in their profile for me, and from reading some other critics, I'm not alone. However, there's a few rare models that are more narrow, like the Jess Horn models ...

Question about back lock tension
Being an engineer I feel a little silly asking, but I'm relatively new to knives (not literally of course, just new to caring about them at any level beyond beyond sharp+metal). Why tension the spring beyond the bare minimum to have it slide in place in the tang? It's not like the spring bares any ...

Re: Is this normal? Regarding 2017 Baby Jess Horn.
Have you tried adjusting the pivot screw for the lock?
Yes, it didn't really help. I can loosen it to where there's an absurd amount of side ways and front/back slop but it's still just an unpleasant experience to open & close. If this is how they all/mostly are I'll be pretty disappointed. I may ...

Is this normal? Regarding 2017 Baby Jess Horn.
I received a new Baby Jess Horn on Friday. Love at first sight. I've tried really hard to like Spydercos in the past. I like a lot about them but in general there's always been one aspect that prevented any of the ones I've purchased from ever becoming the regular pocket prom queen. Usually the ...
