Anodized screws for PM2

Hey guys,
Wanting to dress up one of my PM2's with some aftermarket screws, preferably blue ones. I would greatly appreciate a push in the right direction as I have searched a bit with no real luck. Thanks for any help!

While I am bad about it as well, a knife is designed to cut things. If used to pry or twist things apart, it is the"wrong" tool for the job. To better understand this, take out your phone. Now it could be used as a hammer to drive in nails... But there are probably more specialized tools f...

Re: Mantra 3 mixed feelings

I always laugh when I read people saying they are "tired" of S30V like it is a sandwich they have been eating every day. I feel like the peel ply has a better grip than smooth titanium, though titanium does make it appear more premium. Honestly with a knife I am going to EDC, I prefer peel...

Sliverax, especially after a couple mods. I try to carry other knives but I seem to always miss it.

Re: What's you're biggest folding knife pet peeve?

Carry for me. A knife that carries large or has a lot sticking out of my pocket doesn't work well at my work either (hospitals). When I am working around the house, I have no problem carrying a military or whatever, but my EDC needs to have a deep pocket clip.

Re: Carrying a knife in a "no knives" workplace.

I have been working in several different hospitals the last 7 years. They all have similar no weapon rules. I have carried a pocket k ice on me everyday, even when wearing surgical scrubs. I do prefer deep pocket carry clips as I never have someone mention anything to me when I am using g one but ha...

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

https://i.imgur.com/0JNiTo9.jpg Finally got around to uploading mine. Took about a quarter inch off the blade and rounded for more of a sheepfoot shape. https://i.imgur.com/PLoaKFG.jpg Added the black clip and a strip of rubber grip tape to the lock bar. I had previously removed the flipper tab and...

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

Thanks for the info! I think I am going to shorten it. I enjoy it as an EDC but rarely have to hard use my EDC enough for a minor hot spot to make a difference anyway. However the reason I never bought the positron was I felt the original pocket clip was horrible in the hand. Could you post some clo...

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

Well if removing the lanyard tube was to make it more low profile, having to place a new clip on it that makes it higher in the pocket doesn’t make too much sense.
Where did you get the aftermarket clip?

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

Hey Digdug,
Are there any hot spots created with the clip being so close to the edge of the knife now?

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

What type of grease is everyone using on the bearings? Mine should finally be in on Monday and with all the positive remarks after adding some grease, I'm planning on doing the same. I ordered some “Phil Wood bearing grease” after being recommended by Evil. Comes in a nice squeeze tube from Amazon....

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

Okay, wanted to post an update after modifying and carrying it for a few weeks now. I decided to sand and polish the detent ball track which did make a noticeable difference with the last bit of dropping shut. The bearings had already worn a nice grove down through the rough grind lines so no need t...

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

I found the area where my finger landed after flipping the blade open was not very comfy. Better than some ZT's and their cheese grader landings, but still not very comfortable. Not saying I have girly hands.... I just like to moisturize. I just found spidey-flicking the blade open much more satisfy...

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

Joq21, I have the same problem. The lock bar is very stiff. I thought about bending it back a bit just to take some tension off but you then run the risk of it not sliding all the way across and having some lock up movement, which is no good. As an aside, I also did a little work on the edge of the ...

As others have said, it feels different in the hand but nice. The handle extends far enough down to allow a full hand grip and the large choil for your index finger makes for a solid grip. I have medium/large hands for reference.

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

https://i.imgur.com/st0yV3k.jpg I decided to grind it back to line up when open. Could still use a little touching up. https://i.imgur.com/9O2sWBF.jpg When ground in this way, it leaves a tiny tiny amount sticking up when closed. I rounded the edges so it is not enough to catch your finger or anyth...

Re: Official Sliverax Discussion Thread

I agree, the bearings look almost..... loose. I would guess some other knives that have bearings allow the cage to shift slightly but that would seem to me to cause some binding, even if very minor. That is what it seems to me as mine falls freely until about 60 percent closed when it seems to hit a...
