I hate to say it but things happen in the dojo, that we dont always expect. Thats 7 years of Aikido and 6 of Traditional Hapkido speaking.

When having to cut packages, string, tape, etc around NKP, I rely heavily on my small but sharp cricket, that lives in the deep carry of my pocket.

The one time that I used my Chinook for a mundane task, I thought that people were going to faint. The clack of the lockup sounded like a rife shot ...

I can be counted on to buy one. I have waited a long time for a design such as this, in a spyder.

On my nightstand, at night you will find my Colt 1911, surefire flashlight and my Ronin. Stationed beside the nightstand are my katana, white oak jo, a hickory cane and my Sjambok.

I don't know if I'd be confortable pulling a wave with a civillian, but I haven't tried any waved knives, so I don't know.... If you had an accident it would be a bad one :eek:

I've carried my Civilian waved with a ziptie for a year or so now and have had no accidents. I think that when you wave ...

I agree with Mr Blond completely. Empty hand technique will buy you the time to decide to deploy and do so if necessary. This is important whether you are deploying a folder or a sidearm. The edged weapon is used so many times as a ambush weapon, with the assailant using an "interview ...

I have both the Chinook I (440v) and Chinook II. Love them both. The Original is so tight that after handling the II, it sometimes feels a bit harder to open.
