Re: Black Linen Micarta instead CF/G-10 please
I do miss the linen micarta on the seki knives. On models like the persian it looked and felt so great. Wish I never sold them along with my micarta street beat

Re: Vote: Kick? Choil? Forward? Other?
Big fan of edge all the way to handle. Maximize that blade length and makes it much more comfortable for my hand while giving me similar controllability to a choil.
Designs like the resilience, tenacious, carribean, spydiechef, swayback, etc

I enjoy the volcano on my salt 1. The caly jr fishscales look so nice too.Tristan_david2001 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:32 amIMG_4324.jpeg
It would be fun if these textures came back, even though I’m not a big frn fan. I don’t care for the modern bi directional pattern
The taichung texture is definitely my favorite

Re: Delica 4 in 2024?
You can get good knives with excellent fit and finish from chinese brands like civivi and kizer, but id much rather pay more for a delica. They are just built more rugged and stand the test of time. I still think they are good value work knives in the current times.

I would love a choilless cbbl knife like that with a long cutting edge. Especially in a LW model

Re: The Sage: A stellar EDC
I would like a production sage 5 LW in cru-wear.
I'm also with wartstein, a larger, no choil sage LW would be perfect.

Both steels are great. I prefer the cf scales and clip finish on the m4 so id go with that one

Re: KnifeJoy Neon Green G-10 Manix2 in CPM-20CV
I kind of wanted one, the green looks cool. But I’ve already got an s30v and the boss of all manixes, the bbb 15v.
I figured id skip the 20cv and wait for a magnacut variant that will inevitably come out.
Congrats to those who got one, I would have been all over it if I didn’t have a manix

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
I reckon the harder you open the blade (like with a high-energy flick), the deeper the lockbar gets invited into the cutaway on the blade’s tang. The resulting lock-stick, which is early galling (of the softer titanium), will lead, eventually, to a lockup approaching the opposite scale. My Sage2 is...

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
No lock stick on mine. I took off the clip and it feels so much better in the hand.
