When Is the new coating coming out?
The one replacing dlc that Eric talked about. I like how DLC looks, but i dont care for the added friction while cutting things like fruit, boxes, etc. Just wondering if there has been any update on this.

The tenacious in m4 is a fantastic knife. I hope to see other steels in this knife. Same with resilience

Re: Poll: Favorite Manufacturing Site
Is that the one on Earth?
Anyway, I agree, Golden makes a great knife. They have their detents generally dialed in. Although taichung has some great fit and finish, some of the detent based knives are on the light side - not my preference.

Re: stretch 2 compression lock
Kunwu just came out with a compression-style lock on one of their larger knives. It has a bar that runs between the scales, and thru the the lock bar tab, to stabilize the lock bar and prevent it from twisting (and releasing) if the knife is torqued during use. This might be the answer to ...

Re: stretch 2 compression lock
Been a while since we had a PM2 run with cool blade shape.
How about a hollow grind?
Saber grind! There's something about the saber ground version of the stretch that just looks SO good. A saber ground pm2 would be incredible.
They made one. It was an exclusive can’t remember the ...

That’s called a proud tip and it’s not normal. Unfortunately your warranty is voided. Was it always like this or did it appear after the mods

Re: Kapara s90v burlap micarta KnifeCenter exclusive
My guess is this run was 1200 yet it is still surprising that it has not sold out yet. Just another sign of economic troubles when an S90v micarta compression lock model s great as the Kapara doesn't sell out immediately!
I love s90v and the burlap. Also the kapara is one of my favorite models ...

Re: LeafJumper
Just used mine to slice up a bunch of cardboard. Reminded me why it’s one of my favorites. Super slicey blade, very comfortable handle with no choil in the way, and blade right up the the edge for massive power and control. K390 is great too. Sad this one didn’t catch on, it’s slept on.

Re: An 'Astute' assessment
It’s an amazing design and the most under appreciated Spyderco of all time. I want it to stay the same, just give it some m4 like the tenacious, it deserves better steel and more recognition

Re: Bodacious Discussion
My bodacious freely drops and has a very small amount of bladeplay side to side if you try to notice it. This is when both pivot screws are cranked down. Am i doing something wrong or is the bushing out of spec? It’s also a bit off center, can’t fix it. Im more concerned about the pivot though.
I went and checked my PM2 magnacut. It seems to have a checkered? surface. It makes for a firm grip. I wonder which finish is supposed to be on the scales?
