Re: Pick One Favorite.
For me, it's the Hap40 Endura. The Endura platform has been my favorite for a long time, but this one model always finds a way back in my pocket over the others I have. The handle color is nice, and Hap40 is just a good well rounded tool steel to use and sharpen.

Re: What knives in your collection keep wow-ing you?
Police 4 and Endura, both in K390. Theyre both slicing machines, but put a highly wear resistant steel like K390 on them and it takes them to the next level because you dont have to touch them up nearly as often. Im also liking K390 better than ZDP, as it seems to be less picky about what abrasives ...

Re: Gayle Bradley
Anyone else have trouble with the clip on the gb2? I simply hate it. It doesn't have enough open space on the end to clip it to ANY of my jeans. I can clip it on my pajamas but I don't think that's the intended use. I am going to have to bend it with pliers. I had to do the same thing with many sol...

Re: Yojumbo
I've had a Yojumbo for a few weeks now, and I really dig it. Technically it was designed with SD in mind, but it does EDC stuff just fine. Hollow grind isn't as tall as the one on my Yo2, but it still slices well. Detent is strong, and the enlarged opening hole and its location when closed make open...

Re: Sharpening a Matriarch 2? Best Spyderco Brand tool?
Ive always used the Sharpmaker rods to maintain my serrated edge blades. The corners of the triangle stones work great, just be patient, take your time, and be sure to work the burr off of the flat side of the blade to keep the edge clean after you work the teeth back sharp.

K390 Endura, just keeps cutting and cutting...
Introvert, it slices really well and is kinda a multitool in some nonobvious ways.
H1 Dragonhawk SE, punches way above its size. Just rips through everything.

Another +1 for Ballistol. Good price to quantity ratio, decent and predictable performance, and I love the smell. I use it on all my knives and firearms. Never had rust issues with it (when combined with my maintenance habits), and it hasnt gummed up on me yet.

Re: Diamond Stone Question
Ive used DMT diamond plates for years. Theres a couple of things probably going on here that immediately come to mind. First, is that they will load up with metal dust as you sharpen, and need to be cleaned out periodically to maintain a consistent cutting ability. I wash mine out with warm soapy wa...

Re: Slow on the Draw
I draw my knife with my thumb and middle finger. This allows my index finger to situate the knife positively in my hand. After that I dig my thumb into the Spydie hole and give it a quick flick upward (parallel line to the handle, not perpendicular). Im not the fastest, but that gets me an open Spyd...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
My main hunting rifle is an older (2005ish?) Tikka T3 stainless/laminate in 270 Winchester with a Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42. With the stock rings the front of the scope bell is less than 1/8 of an inch from the barrel. I have never seen a scope fit a rifle so perfect. It looks like it is touchi...

Not a watch enthusiast, but I do appreciate a well built time piece. I'm wearing my Casio GShock Rangeman GW9400 in OD Green. It's been my daily driver for almost 4 years and I havent felt the need to wear anything else since getting it.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Last one that I bought was a Tikka T3X Lite in 308 and threw an SWFA 10x42 fixed magnification scope on it with the lowest rings I could find that would fit it. It's way more accurate than I probably ever will be lol.
