I bought a Tinus Beukes Gentlemans Side Knife from AG Russell Knives. Check it out on the web site. They have them. It is rather small sized and can be carried inside a suit pocket. It is really nice. It has giraffe bone handle and Austrian Bohler 690 steel. It comes with a beautiful ostrich sheath....

Wow, I guess this is a good night for me. I just learned about different magazines besides Blade and Tactical knives. I will be down to Barnes and Nobles tommorow to get Knives Illustrated and any other mags on knives. I just like them very much. I didn't know of any other publications besides these.

white lightning

Try some White Lightning. It is a folding knife and multi-tool wax lubricant. It is very good. Use some kitchen scour pads made out of plastic, to clean up the blade.

miserable wretch government

Try carrying a fixed blade instead. A nice sized blade is all you need. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Beat them at their own game. Write the custom office where the knife was stolen from you and advise them where they can stick the knife. They are no better than swine anyway. People like...

I've had a Civilian for over ten years. It is very good. You can feel the quality of this sturdy folder as soon as you handle one. It is a self defense knife. You hold it like a karambit. Reverse grip seems to be the grip of choice with this one, but a saber grip is also ok. Very nice!

Lets say a pray for CKE

I was speaking to ThomB. in work this morning. He mentioned Craig (CKE) was going into surgery today. I will say a prayer for him. He was one of the first forum members to welcome me to this site. Lets all says a prayer for him to do well, and get better soon. He's a good guy. Rick

Wow!!!

Moon, Wow, that is what I was looking for. What a line-up. My only problem is trying to decide which knife I like best(as I really like them all). Incredible, just when you think they couldn't do any better, the folks at Spyderco give us these choices. I'll have to look at my budget(Ha, Ha) and see ...

can't find picture of Mannix in catalog

Hi Guys,
I looked through all the pictures in "new knives", but I couldn't find a picture of the Mannix. Maybe I'm doing something incorrectly.

It appears that someone cut the hole up, to make the knife a flipper style. It looks to be milled out or sawed and ground down. It its just a modified blade, if you like that kind of thing. Not my cup of tea.

Ats-34 or 154cm(both are equal), are both great steels, just manufactured by Atachi and Cruciable. Most custom makers prefer them. They cut very well and are easy to resharpen, and are very good quality. Blade Magazine had an article just recently regarding this. The author of the article wrote about...

spyderco factory outlet staff top shelf

A couple of days ago an individual mentioned his experience with Spyderco custumer support. I must say that I have ordered three knives from the outlet store. Each time(3) the staff there has been top shelf in their attitude and level of assistance. It is a pleasure to deal with good people such as ...

Wow man,
Lockbacks are very secure. Alot of strength there. This type of knife needs a very secure lock-up. It is designed for HEAVY use. That is a very good system for this powerful cutting tool. Enjoy!
