Para 3 Putnam Scales Install
I just picked up some Putnam scales for my Para 3. From what I've read the lanyard tube can cause some problems and be a real PIA. Any tips? Also, I tried one of the screws and I might be dealing with some loctite. It turned at first and then came to a stop. I quit because I didn't want to strip the...

Re: Broken Tip Repair Question
I'm sure it only took them 5 minutes to repair. You should look into getting a Dremel for these minor jobs. It was a brand new PM 2 with a broken tip. I have a dremel but I wasn't going to practice my first tip repair on a $120 knife. It cost me $10 this way and I can't even tell the tip was ever b...

Re: Broken Tip Repair Question
Update: Spyderco mailed it back to me 1 week from the day they received it. Knife looks as good as new, they even put a $20 bill in the box with a note saying it was an easy repair and they only needed $5 for shipping. Can't beat that! Awesome customer service.

Broken Tip Repair Question
Hey everybody, new to the forum. Dropped my brand new all black Paramilitary 2 onto a tile floor, broke the tip, I'd guess about 2mm or so. Anyway, sent it in to Spyderco in Golden and they should be getting it tomorrow. Just wondering if it'll come back as good as new? Also, is their turn around ti...
