Re: Compression Lock Millie?
The liner lock on the Military is fine and works great and I don't see a need for change. The design of the knife overall is near perfection. The only change I would love to see (as many have echoed before me) would be more options for the pocket clip location and deeper carry in the pocket. A tip u...

Re: Military and Para2 in s110v Blurple
I ordered my blurple Military hoping for the black clip only to receive the satin clip. I agree with the others that have mentioned that the black clips are much more descrete. I ended up doing the dryer stonewash and then torched the clip and it looks much better :)

I desperately want one of these but with all the crap going on with the CBSA it's going to be impossible to get one of these shipped to Canada.

I put a Lynch clip on mine and carry it tip down and it's perfect. Completely disappears in the pocket. Give it a try.

Re: DLC Ronin 2 & Yojimbo 2
I've been asking for a standard production YJ2 with black sclaes and DLC for a while now. For a legitimate tactical blade it just makes sense.
I would buy one as soon as it became available. I would have bought the coyote Brown/dlc exclusive but it wasn't worth the risk ordering one from Canada.

Re: Let's get hyped for the Amalgam!
Flipping action and compression lock manipulation for those who are concerned with these aspects of the knife. I'm right handed and am able to easily manipulate the lock with either hand. I can also easily open the knife with the flipper using either hand. The action is nice, good enough that I can...

Re: Let's get hyped for the Amalgam!
This is going into my pocket as soon as I can get one. Love the design. Looks like it'll be so comfortable in the hand and a knife that can stand up to some abuse.
Great work!

Re: Let's get hyped for the Amalgam!
Defintely excited for this one. I love the look, shape and size of the blade, and I'm a fan of the choil. I'll need to see a review or two first but there's an excellent chance that this will be added to the collection. I also love Eric's explanation of how the blade came to be. Gives the knife more...

Re: Do I really "need" a Southard?
I lusted after the Southard for a long time and could never pull the trigger because of the price. I bought a new one on sale and after carrying it daily for a month, I'd now pay full price. It's a beautiful knife, incredibly solid in hand, silky smooth to operate, and a joy to use and carry. The st...

Re: You get to make any model a Lil "fill in the blank"
Lil‘ Szabo Folder. That thing is super sexy in my eyes. If there‘d be a little brother, that‘d be splendid! +1. I came in here to write the same thing. Such a great design. A Lil Szabo with a clean dropping compression lock would be a must buy. Plus a "Lil" version of the Szabo would make...

Re: Poll: would you buy a fully serrated paramilitary 2?
I bought one and love it. I love my serrated Dragonfly 2 as well. Serrated edges make a lot of sense in a carry/utility blade and I'm glad Spyderco makes so many serrated variants. Keep em coming!

The blacked out YJ2 looks so, so, so, good! It would be an instant purchase if they ever offered it as a stock option.

Re: Updated Military on Spyderco's Website?
Thanks for the replies so far. Does anyone know when the updated Military's started shipping? Being such a popular knife I'm surprised there wasn't some kind of announcement. I also called and spoke with one of the largest knife retailers in Canada (I'm in Vancouver) and they didn't have any of the ...

Updated Military on Spyderco's Website?
Hello, I'm a long time forum lurker but not new to Spyderco's. I've been looking to purchase a Military and I just noticed that on Spyderco's website each of the "basic" Military's all seem to have the updated stop pin and enlarged lanyard hole. I can't tell by the photos but I would assum...
