Re: Completely Forgotten Spyderco Models: Your Favorites?

Never hear about the domino’s little brother the Dice anymore. I picked one up when it was discontinued. It was my third spyderco at the time. It has some shortcomings (bulky in pocket, not the best flipper action, questionable choice in CF pattern) of all my knives it still has the best ergos/feel ...

Re: Any love for combo edges?

I went through every spyderco knife I hade earlier looking for a gardening knife and without hesitation I grabbed a black bladed base model s30v CE native. Gifted to me by my boss. Well used. Is it hype? No. But for cutting through 20 bags of black Scott’s mulch and trimmer line I have nothing bette...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread

I found the zwear Shaman on https://www.countryknives.com/shop-by-department/sporting-and-outdoor/tactical/folding-tactical/spyderco-c229mpzw-shaman-brown-canvas-micarta-z-wear-pm/ It's full retail price but does anyone know if this is a scam? I'd gladly pay full price if it means I get one. I saw ...

Chaparral LW for me. Takes care of any cutting task I need during the day and cuts like a laser forever

PayneTrain, love your signature line!
Sorry to veer off topic, I love the sentiment as well. Trouble is, I’m a veterinarian. Try as I might, many pups remember a thermometer up the rear and pokes with vaccines (if it’s a good day).

Re: Dice Pocket Clip Relocation Problem

Good to hear about the positive experience. I'm personally so glad I picked a dice when they went on d/c clearance. The ergos are so underrated. It's been in my pocket for the past few days.

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral

The pocket presence of the chappie is...there isn't any at all. I can clip it to my side pocket of slacks and find I don't have to work around it at all if I reach in. The delica I still have to. In the hand it still feels super lightweight. If you like a choil the chappie is perfection. Very slicey...

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral

I love my FRN chaparral. I'm pretty new to spyderco (and folders in general) and have really been looking for a perfect office EDC. I'm a veterinarian so no need for hard use blade. The "sliciness" and weight are ideal for my uses. I have a stainless delica that I absolutely love and still...
