Re: Military Thief
Thanks for the comments and attempts to make me feel better. It just sucks. I locked up my Randal Made knives in the safe but didn’t even think about the Military. It gets used as a daily tool to open mail, etc. so I left it out like I always do without thought. My hope is that someone needed it mor...

Re: Military Thief
Believe me, I am certainly regretting leaving it in plain sight. Lesson learned. Just sucks you can’t even leave a Spyderco out in your own home. Now I gotta figure out if I’m missing anything else. Ughhhh!

Military Thief
Sitting here pissed off on Christmas because I just realized that someone stole the Military Camo G-10 Black Blade I ordered directly from Spyderco earlier this year. We had some work done at our home while I was out of town. It sits on my home office desk daily and I didn’t think twice about having...

New Military
Got home from a road trip to find my new CQI Millie in S30V waiting for me. I could not find any of the new CQI enhancements at authorized dealers so I used a repair credit/code to buy straight from Spyderco. It arrived lightning fast and I absolutely love it. The CQI enhancements really make for a ...

Re: Military CQI
UPDATE: I called & spoke with the wonderful folks at Spyderco and they do indeed have the CQI Millies in the standard S30V models. I had a discount/credit from a warranty repair & was able to use it for the order. I went ahead and got Camo/DLC. None of the authorized dealers seemed to have t...

Product Catalog Problem
This is going to be trouble- went to the mail and a plastic bag with the 2017 Product Guide & 2017 Mid-Year Guide arrived. The catalog is gorgeous & will likely separate me from my money rather quickly. Shame on Spyderco for tempting a grown man like this !!!! I don't know who does the catal...

Re: Spyderco military 2
It's funny- I never even thought about tip up/down before joining this forum. I always just carried however the clip came from the factory on all my knives. Someone above discussed liking the fact that there aren't holes all over the G10 for clip placement- I do love that about the Millie. I do not ...

Re: Sharpmaker OCD Freakout
I have the Sharpmaker but I stink at sharpening knives with it. I ended up getting the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition and sharpened every dadgum knife in the house. Maybe one day I'll pull out the Sharpmaker and try again! As I get older I'm hoping I'll develop more patience.

Re: Military CQI
I wasn't able to call spyderco today, but all of the reputable dealers have responded that they haven't received any of the new regular CQI Millies yet.

Re: Military CQI
When I call Spyderco tomorrow I'll ask them. Agreed that the '17 catalog shows all the new CQI upgrades across the board on the standard model. Doesn't seem like dealers have any of the standard S30V models with all of the CQI. This is why I was asking about buying directly from Spyderco. Curious if...

Re: Military CQI
Thanks guys. I've checked with a couple authorized dealers & the only CQI Millies they have are the exclusive runs. On Spyderco's website the pics look as if the standard camo Millies in S30V have the CQI upgrades. If you buy direct from Spyderco (at a much high price) will the standard run Mill...

Re: Military CQI
Thanks guys for the comments. I'll check with BladeHQ & KnifeWorks to see if the standard S30V they have in stock has all of the CQI enhancements. I want a good Steel but for my usage I'm not sure if I could actually tell the difference. Thanks again for sharing your insight. Still leaning towar...

Re: Military CQI
My understanding is this is a rolling change for all Military models. What $30 difference are you referring to? The only 2 enhanced models I'm aware of for general purchase are the BladeHQ M4 & the Knifeworks CTS204P. I'm leaning towards the Knifeworks model- but again I don't know if the impro...

Military CQI
About to pull the trigger on a Military but want to know if the CQI is worth the $ difference versus a standard S30V model. Am I correct in my understanding that the CQI Millie's only come in the BladeHQ & KnifeWorks exclusive runs (I'm not including the TI models cause they are out of my $ rang...

Re: The Militaries; What Spyderco Does Very Well
Every time I think I want a Para 2, I keep going back to search for a Military. I have very long hands & the Military feels custom made. I am a user of folding knives & not a collector (I have Randall Made Knives for collecting). I see all of these variants but thinking I should probably jus...

Hi Hoghunter, Welcome to our forum and thanx much for the kind words. I hope you, and he, enjoy your knives. sal Holy cow! Am I to assume that this is from Mr. Sal Glesser? I just watched the Spyderco factory tour videos today on YouTube and the story was incredible. There are Spydercos in all our ...

Spyderco Trust
Was in the process of finding a knife for my son. He got his first car & I'm a firm believer in always keeping a quality blade in the car. Wife has a pink Native that she's had for a good while that goes in her truck. We selected the Delica 4 in gray for his car. The knife is absolutely perfect....

The authorized dealer list doesn't appear to be working on the website. Is there a list somewhere available elsewhere? Thanks
