I think it odd that no one knows this number. It makes for a very weak argument that M4 from Spyderco USA is worth the money.

Any new updates on this knife?

Anyone have any info on the actual rockwell on the USA M4?

I had a PM2 in M4 and had to sharpen it several times and it seemed soft. Sent it in and they said it was fine but would not tell me the rockwell numbers. I was wondering if Sal would answer that?

Has anyone noticed any difference between the Golden and Taiwan M4? The HT seems different. I know Bradley has expressed that his testing of the Taiwan M4 has been great and they peg it at 65 but the Golden boys seem to make it softer. Any info on this? PM2 with Smooth CF and Elmax Core Damascus would be my vote for next years knife.

If they did a peelply cf instead of that inlay they would have one of the best pm2s ever made.

I reported this one as well. Spyderco never made a pm2 with titanium. Plus look at the laser marks they are "off" looking

I was watching a Nick Shabazz review on the para 3 and he said that spyderco used red lock tight on the frame and pivot screws. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If so why? Also does spyderco consider your warranty void if you disassemble the knife? Thanks for any info.

First post. Sorry if this has already been discussed. Has anyone seen any fake Para 3s yet? It hasn't been out that long. I ordered one on amazon and it looks great I just always feel iffy ordering there. Quell my worries please. :eek:
