Re: New PM2 Sticky Lock and Slow Return

Sure enough, after a couple days it has loosened up nicely. It now falls closed perfectly. I even tightened the pivot screw back up a half a smidge.

ZrowsN1s - Funny, this is my S110V...

I ended up just loosening the pivot screw a smidge, and it got a lot better. How tight should that be? Is there a torque spec?

New PM2 Sticky Lock and Slow Return

Hi,
I just received my new paramilitary 2 and after having fallen in love with the action of my para 3, am a little concerned with the action. My para 3's action is incredible, opens/closes with ease. The PM2 actually flicks open fine, but the lock sticks when trying to release, and I have to pull ...

Re: Becoming a blade junkie...

Thanks all. I consider myself more of a user than a collector. I just want to have a collection that I use... I like the idea that each of my knives have a purpose, though there is some overlap.
I think my next purchases are going to be sharpening stones. I want to learn to freehand sharpen.

Becoming a blade junkie...

I bought my first Spyderco sometime in the '80s. It was a cheap Delica "Clip It", and I still have it. In the last 5-10 years I bought 3 different Benchmades. About a month ago, I rediscovered Spyderco, and couldn't decide between the Sage 2 and the Para 3. I ultimately decided on the Sage 2. A week ...

Re: No Sage 2 Love?

Flat & deep in my pocket were definitely considerations for me. I'm stoked. Can't wait for it to get here!
Btw, remnar, not sure what kind of science experiment you got going on there, but that looks interesting...

Re: No Sage 2 Love?

Thanks for all the feedback. It's good to see there is some love for this blade. I can't wait to check it out. If only I had ordered faster than the "free" shipping...

No Sage 2 Love?

Hi,
New to the forum, and just returning to Spyderco. I have an early Clipit Delica, I bought in the early '80's. Now after being on the Benchmade bandwagon for a few knives, have decided to get another Spyderco. After much deliberation, I ordered a Sage 2 from BladeHQ. Finally shipped today, and ...
