Spyderco has also said they stock piled enough 15V to account for the models they’ve announced, including the BBB collab model that hasn’t been announced yet.
I missed that! Thank you! Then I will keep being patient and wait for my Yo2!

Re: Reveal 16 15V alert thread time?

I heard on a YouTube video that there might not be many more 15V models be released due to the bankruptcy of Crucible. Can anyone give an educated guess on this? Ideally I'd like to hold out on a Yo2 as I haven't tried that model. But I'm wondering if I just jump on what I can get for right now ...

Re: 15v question

It seemed on par with D2 for me. Doesn't really rust super easy, but still not stainless. Mostly have only had a problem with it getting sweaty, or if it gets chlorine on it.

I know I should have bought the Father’s Day sale last week, but I’m looking to pick up a PM2 Salt. Are there any deals ours there?

Re: EDC Appreciation Thread For Daily Carry

For EDC, I’ve found it hard to beat a k390 wharncliffe! The Delica is amazing in this configuration. Although the swayback is the spiciest folder I have. Something about that grind makes it a laser. I really only need one of those knives!

Re: Real World User Experience Sharpening CPM 15V

Hi Hamilton,

Should be no problem. (I think we're going to be disco'ing that stone?) The brown/gray material is friable, meaning it will eventually wear, after the surface is "cracked" I find that on the triangle, I like to "crack" the surface by rubbing the corners of two against each other. It ...

Hi David,

The ceramic rods on the Sharpmaker cut glass. 9.2 on the Moh's scale. I'm sure you could cut a notch in the 15V blade if you wanted to.

Sal,

How hard is the medium Benchstone? I just picked one up, and wondering if it can handle 15V?

Re: Let's Talk Wharncliffes

Once I went wharncliffe, I haven’t gone back. I picked up a k390 Endela while vacationing in CO and visited the SFO. That lead to rhe k390 Delica. Then I picked up a Swayback and Rockjumper. For my general EDC of opening packages, I have t found a better blade shape!

Good Lord willing, will pick ...

Re: Real World User Experience Sharpening CPM 15V

@deadboxhero I have the double sided CBN stone from Spyderco and their Medium and UltraFine Bench stone. I hear a lot of people talking about using diamond or CBN stones. And I read where you feel like the edge loses its bite if the stone is softer than the carbides.

Do you think the Medium ...

Re: Best spyderco sharpener for serrated knives

Yes, most versatile but is it the best for serrated knives? I am only looking for the best sharpener for serrated.

I've tried various alternatives but to me the Sharpmaker is by far the best. It is very easy to keep a SE knife hair popping sharp with one and makes SE sharpening easier ...
