Re: Spyderco and law enforcement personnel

People on this forum are outliers obviously as I have more Spyderco’s than I can count. Most guys I work with carry cheap “tactical” knives with a serrated edge and glass breaker. I’ve seen a few guys with ZT’s and microtechs. Are the guys you work with LEOs/Military people ? I find those who reall...

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

I’m in for one. Nice change of pace from all the satin blades. Rivers Edge is my hometown store, good to see them getting in on the sprint runs. Tell them that the next one needs to be in Buckeye colors! How about a Scarlet G10 Native with a "Grey" (aka stonewashed) 4V blade??? :) O-H-!! ...

Re: PPT or Yojimbo 2 - which do you prefer?

I got one of the PPT s90v from the recent sprint and had a Yojimbo S90v sprint from last year. PPT for me. I had a Yojimbo for a while and it just didn’t like my hands. I just couldn’t get a good grip on it and the compression lock would pinch my hand when flipping open. I have at least 20 Spyderco’...

Re: Loose thumb studs on Vallotton Sub-Hilt?

Thanks, I was just hoping to see if anyone had experience or a home remedy.

I tightened one side with a channel lock while applying pressure to the other side. Seems to have worked for now.

Loose thumb studs on Vallotton Sub-Hilt?

I just picked up a full size Vallotton Sub-Hilt because I loved my mini so much. I noticed the thumb studs are a little loose. I heard a rattle sound when I was handling the knife and found it was the thumb studs on the Spydie hole. They spin freely when pressure is applied. This doesn’t seem to be ...
