Re: Manix 2 LW 110V hard to open and close.
My Manix 2 LW 110V is the same. It needs to break in or you just need to get used to it. Either way that's not going to happen sitting in the box until Fathers day. Your wife is obviously a very intelligent woman, based on this gift purchase . Show her this thread and ask her for some daily break in...

Where is The bread truck ?
I just got the February Spyderco Byte and it mentions the bread truck that the Glessers started out with. It just occurred to me, what ever became of the bread truck? Thanks in advance for the answer. Joe

Re: New to forum, coming from Spyderco side
The cool thing about the Byrd line is that many of the designs have a corresponding "brother" in the Spyderco line, at least size wise. They also have some different blade shapes like hawkbills that can be tried out for relatively little cash output. Let us know what you end up getting. Joe.

Elmax and M390 ?
I saw that the sprint run of the Squeak will have Elmax steel. I have no experience with Elmax or M390. From my EDC experience I personally rank: 1. ZDP189 2. S30V and tied for 3. VG10 and N690Co. Based on these rankings, where would you place Elmax and M390 ? Thanks in advance for your help. Joe.

In the movie Cheap Thrills an Endura is used throughout the movie after the 30 minute mark. It is a dark comedy movie...not family friendly. Joe.

Saw this on the news. 1 min 2 seconds in : https://youtu.be/mgl5gi6xlPI#t=74 Joe. ( It was a video of a Kansas City police detective that had his car decorated for his birthday. The news showed his reaction to discovering it covered in Post it notes and filled with balloons. On camera he opened the ...

I'm thinking that many people already carry a dedicated cutting tool and just want some tools handy. I didn't think of the TSA angle Donut. Probably because the last time I flew I had a carry on back pack with escrima sticks poking out of it and a Buck 303 stockman in my jeans pocket. The flight att...

? for Sal. Clipit tool with tools only.
I am wondering if there is any possibility of a bladeless clipit tool with scissors and screwdriver. Thanks, Joe.
