Re: Please share your experience with, and impressions of, K390 in SE
I've had the Endela and Delica and sold them both, but not because of the performance of the steel. I did not compare their cutting ability directly against my Salt 2 H1 SE or against a VG10 SE knife I had, but my sense was that the K390 did NOT cut any better than H1 or VG10. Nothing scientific her...

Call me crazy, but I don't get an S90V Siren. Yeah, I know all about S90V, so someone explain the logic in this to me. Please. Magnacut I could understand. S90V...nah. I think anybody who uses one is going to find corrosion, and probably sooner rather than later. The edge will hold a long time, but...

Eli, what steel on that baby? Perhaps it might be worth cross-posting in the Spyderco for field dressing thread. Nothing like real-world experience and observations to answer that OP's question.

Re: The ARK is probably the most high performance SE knife ever made
I have been trying out the neck knife method for carrying this knife. I really do not like anything hanging around my neck, but this is very unobtrusive and so far, it is not really bugging me at all. That's with paracord, not the chain. Hopefully my luck will hold out.

Re: Website has Ark SE in stock and some other hard to find models
Has anyone that ordered the ARK over the weekend or today received any shipping info? I ordered mine Friday at 6:40 PM Tucson Arizona time and I received notification a few hours ago that mine has left the Post Office and is on the way with a scheduled delivery for Thursday. Shipping is from Louisi...

Re: Are there fake dealer exclusives??
Ebay, Amazon, estate sales, your best friend who doesn't know any better--there are lots of places where you might come across a fake. Sometimes the knife is in the possession of someone who knows it's a fake, other times not.I have found that there is a price for comfort, for knowing you have the r...

Re: Caribbean Question
No problem sharpening on my Sharpmaker without removing blade. sal Absolutely no chance I'd own a sharpener that requires me to take the knife apart to use it. That sounds like the kind of sharpener the government would design 🤣 Requiring three work crews, disassembly team, sharpening team, and the...

Re: Has Anyone Used a Spyderco Folder for Field Dressing?
I don't know if you count this as field dressing (I do), but I believe that forum member surfgringo has processed a LOT of large fish with Spyderco folders. Maybe he will chime in here. Jim I agree--Lance will have the most experience processing something that was alive at one time. And the Salt se...

I wonder if a heat gun and some judicious use on the tab might alleviate your issue, Vivi.

Re: The ARK is probably the most high performance SE knife ever made
Any concern of loss? Handle down, correct? I know the sheath has that push tab. I just want to make sure the knife doesn't somehow slip past it. Also, how long did it take for you to become accustomed to neck carry? I've had no issues. Mine has been very secure in the sheath. Yes, handle down. If I...
