Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Like the older crazy deals thread, I am guessing this one will go the way of the Dodo Bird since certain folks here don't want to read post #1 and talk about great deals rather than BBS.

Re: St. Nick's Knives Exclusive Para 3

Very nice. Are the liners with DLC too? I can't see in the pictures. It's not likely that the liners are coated since the one side is also the lock bar. Ye i know it is unlikely since Spyderco didn't do it with the previous para 3 and pm2 models. But since StNK did an all black delica who knows.. I...

Re: St. Nick's Knives Exclusive Para 3

The enthusiasts who will buy a Delica for 190 dollars have already bought one. The flippers aren't going to buy them unless it looks like it will be a knife that will sell at a good profit margin. What will they go for on the secondary market when sold out? "Sold out forever" will make them special...

Re: St. Nick's Knives Exclusive Para 3

It would be cool if they allowed people who bought their Delica exclusive the opportunity to buy 1 of this exclusive before it goes live...like a “St. Nicks Spyderco exclusive loyalty program”. It’s a hoop dream, but it would give us a chance to get one before the clippers get to it. I really like ...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

I have a few super blue Spydercos, including a Mule which, like the Caly Jr, has no cladding. I have not been lucky enough to get one of these yet, though still would like to have one even though I have a few other models. That said, as with all things, if ultimately it is not meant to be, I know th...

Re: Real or fake : spyderco military titanium Fluted

I would be shocked to see a fake fluted Ti Millie. Why do you think it's fake? You know, you can always send it in to Spyderco and they will tell you for sure if you are that concerned.

Re: Something has been bothering me...

How many of us have misconstrued the intent of a friend who sent a text message to us before? All of us? How many of us have taken offense to something truly said in lightheartedness and with no offense whatsoever intended? All of us? Communication is hard even for those of us who are exceptional at...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

Yes, there are some who do not. The girl said that it's a security issue having that stuff laying around on their computers, and she is right in that regard. However, it's not stated that this is their policy and it may matter to some. I have bought from them before and I think they do a great job. ...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

Maybe they had them “0 in stock” because they had not received their shipment yet, and when the shipment hits, the people who bought will get their orders filled? That’s my wishful thinking for the -28 people who paid for it. Or maybe they'll string folks along..."Hey, man, we're getting a bunch in...

also, there was a situation where SMKW left off a 1 in front of a 20 dollar price tag... ...they honored it! Yes, everyone that ordered 1 or 20 of them, let's all collectively give SMKW a swift kick to the frontal area, you know, for THEIR mistake, for having the audacity to keep it listed at the i...

Jim's results are good in my book. Folks however should not make the mistake of looking at the numbers and believing that they are comparing apples to apples given the different geometries.

Another vote on the SE Pacific Salt. To give you an idea, I can easily cut lots of thick carpeting with my SE Dragonfly in H1 and that has less than a 2" blade on it.

Electrolosis plating from the pot on to the knife blade. You made your own conducting solution. :) You had electrons shooting all around there. Joe I'd be willing to bet (Joe's) good money that this is the most likely scenario. Al is quite reactive. (Food grade aluminum cans have a liner) I'd be wi...
