Re: Inexpensive Fixed Blades
Thanks Tom, those Enzo offerings looked real nice. I have settled on a blade size of 4 to 5 inches and the ones I like from them are a bit out of my price range. If I was going to up spend for a knife I think they would be a top consideration. Looked at Mora again. I do like how the edge comes all t...

direct from Spyderco. I have not checked since it first came out. Since it is a limited issue and these seem to sell on ebay for a markup, I imagine the more desirable issues go quick. No idea if this steel qualifies.

Re: Inexpensive Fixed Blades
Searched out the Lauri PT blades. Very interesting option, but much more time for me to get it right than I am willing to give to a knife right now when a bit more gets me a finished product.

Re: Inexpensive Fixed Blades
Mule blades are nice and I really like the 25 steel out now, but cost for handles and sheath is too much-I know you can para cord the handle and make your own sheath, but I am not looking for that.
Doc Dan those are some real nice suggestions and along the lines I was thinking.

Re: MT25P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with LC200N
I was real excited about this knife, but ultimately decided it was out of my price range for what I was looking for. Hoping to hear some reviews from the regular mule testers. Know it is stainless, but how hard is it to get an edge, how long does it keep it, prone to chipping relative to other ss? S...

Inexpensive Fixed Blades
I know this would get better play on the other forums, but this is the only knife one I am on. I have decided I would like a smallish fixed blade knife and it seems the $50 range is a sweet spot for what I am looking for. I know lots of the fixed blade folks like a higher carbon steel, but. i want t...

Re: MT25P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with LC200N
My guess is Spyderco has bought a quantity of the Halperin scales and will be selling those at the same cost as through Halperin, but saving us on shipping. Those use SS screws. Hoping the contoured handles are offered and there are some good color choices, but whatever will be offered is set alread...

You are probably familiar with this product, but on the off chance you are not, I will pass it along. I have used the VC-3 in other applications and been pleased with its performance.

Re: MT25P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with LC200N
Decided I wanted a quality edc a bit over a month ago. Initially focused on the Keershaw Camber, but then more I looked the more I liked the lightweight Manix 2. Purchased the Manix in BD-1 and I am a bit bitten with knives. So many choices in the $50-$100 range offered by Spyderco. Have decided a f...
