Re: Sage 5.2

Yes, yes, yes! Less comp lock! More button lock!

I add that contorting my fingers and pinch gripping the scales to put my fat finger in the small slot of the comp lock is super insecure.

Just got back from picking up my Dodo from BHQ. The lady at the counter did not know why they had more, but said there were several in the back. She also let me fondle them and pick the one I wanted.
It's because their IT is incompetent!

I missed out. I don't care to have one now! I blame BHQ!

I wasn't going to get the Siren, but now I'm going to mainly because of Linerless!

Re: Shot Show 2020 anticipation

The compression lock and the stop lock are both wish thread rhetoric they're just rumors. The only changes to the military that I can remember are some ergonomics and multi-position clip. A compression lock would make it a Paramilitary XL Nope, as Warstein said earlier, Military with comp lock is g...

Re: Shot Show 2020 anticipation

PM2 Tanto Was it not said the Military 2 will use a stop lock? Either way a Military2 is way past due and would make sense seeing how few Militaries if any were released in the past year. Can’t recall any. Sal was talking about a comp lock Millie 2 prototype as far as I recall... hope it will not a...

Stretched straight spine sounds like a Police 4 on a Stretch grip.

Re: Stretched Stretch - continued from Straight spine thread

Lol I own them, Ha,Ha,Ha. My SS Stretch is coming back into rotation for more tinkering with the blade right now it is in a not usable state. :p :p / The SS Stretch is great. Said it in another thread already: I am really surprised that it's not totally sold out everywhere by now... Some people don...

That is a nice knife. That's what we need a sprint of, in black too. How long is the blade?

Re: Dear Sal & Eric

Sounds to me like somebody’s gettin ready to rit dye their dodo whether they like it or not I didn't read that at all. He already rit dyed it blue. He explained the jade was M4 and not stainless. Her final request was to appeal to Sal to produce one in red g10 and stainless. In my head I did hear a...

Re: Most Fidget Friendly Knife

I like the slow, smooth, deliberate opening of a back lock and the satisfying click that it makes when it falls into place. I fidget with my back locks a lot. I think of it as "slow fidget." Agreed 100%! I'm old school. We use to punch anybody that flicked our knives. I learned to carry a leatherma...

Re: Spyderco Retro?

Here is an easy retro sprint. Only the grind needs changing. I want a Native Chief with original sabre grind and Swedge. Fraden lock had an excellent hollow ground Manix 2. This is my number 1 wish for the Chief. Those retro style grinds are awesome. If possible, add the square jimping and a barrel...

Re: ZDP-189 - Overrated or Super Steel?

s90v is “easier” and I prefer it over s110v and zdp honestly. I’ll take s30v or s90v any day over those and I’m not a huge fan of them. But I’ll use em, carry em and sharpen em all the same. I think they’re all overrated though. s30v does just fine, as does vg10. If the heat treats right I don’t ca...
