Congrat's Daywalker

I have been a long while away and am very pleased to see your a) get a knife in prod' and b) get yours... Pitty I was not back sooner I would I have done by best to order one.

Summer is just over here so no jacket..... yet.

Pockets and belt.... :spyder: Meerkat, pager, cellphone, wallet, few coins & car keys, as at right now.

That reminds me. Where are my car keys..... ?

Of late I have carried a BenchMade rescue hook in the other pocket.

Have a Rescue in my medical bag, another in my overalls when doing "fun" stuff. Often drop a Delica in the top of my pack as well.

I use a very short lanyard on the end of my rescue. It’s an inch long, tied using a double fisherman’s knot. It is there to allow me to clip the knife to small karabiner. The krab in term is used to hang the :spyder: in my harness, of front strap of my pack. Has worked well for me over the ten or so ...

Weather carrying a weapon on or off duty I would have thought that your training would kick in almost immediately and your actions be virtually automatic.

Not always the case. I know of a ED nurse, who has seen more than her fair share of blood etc, become a total wreck ...

I aggree with CKE. I think I grew up in much the same way.

I have been thinking over that "knife and boy" issue when it comes to my son.

They way I see it is,as children grow they learn. It is our (parents) job to help them do so. Some learning steps have to be more guided than others, but along ...

I EDC a Meerkat when I’m in town. It’s a great little blade, does every thing I ask of it. I noticed yesterday that the blade has a bit of sideways movement in it. It looks like the sides of the knife move a little too when there is lateral pressure on the blade. Should I be worried ...

The seller says Delica and Dragonfly. He says the steel is AUS-8 and AUS-8A, lengths are 170mm opened and 135mm long opened.

The bottom one looks like a Dragonfly but the top one??? :confused: The rounded ...

I love my Delica. The only :spyder: I would by choice EDC over it is my Standard, which is really a G10 Delica in my books. The Delica was the 1st Spyderco I meet. Fell in love with it on the spot. Great knife.

That said I'm forced to EDC a Meerkat most of the time based on size of blade and low ...
