Re: Apparently - Cold Steel Has Been Bought

Towards the end of 2020 Cold Steel founder and CEO Lynn C. Thompson announced the sale of the company to GSM Outdoors. When we spoke with GSM in December, they told us that both Thompson and Demko would remain aboard; but Demko says that multiple considerations ultimately led him to leave the compa...

Re: Reveal 8 ETA?

LOL, people are getting quite confused now of Reveal process, girls whatcha gonna do :D ...keep calm and carry on, breathe in breathe out. I think we should let Spyderco do their Reveals weather you're getting confused with your collecting or not, I'm interested to see the new models even they are g...

Re: Janisong disassembled

This was a bad idea. Don’t do this. I’ve taken apart every knife I ever bought. I thought that the janisong couldn’t be more difficult to reassemble than the autonomy - I was wrong. I had to walk away and revisit the reassembly later because I couldn’t get the scales back on the liners. I’d like to...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!

There's really no need for desperation that they are sold-out for now, scalpers first then the normal people. I think that if there is demand this will be reissued in the tens of thousands until the demand is met, stuttering tttoddday i di nfluencers will keep the hype going. Problem is that instead...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!

I don’t get why this would be made as an exclusive. I’m seeing lots of frustration here from international customers and I guess I’m one of them. As a sprint or regular production Spyderco fans from all over the world can participate. I presume knife sadness has paid for the knives and is taking th...

Re: High Performance Delica Excitement

It's fun to see excitement about K390 to be perfectly OK now with VG10 :D I guess everybody in here will be overly excited with 8Cr13Mov as well :D Are these still done in Japan, expensive and sometimes with some QC issues? Or is there any chance that this "high performance" line of knives to be don...

Millies releases have slowed down, Millie2 they have been sinking about it for years, maybe serrated edges for these, but I think that will come with compression lock.

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!

That looks kinda g r ay... And I bet they didn't cut that apple with Kapara :D Unfortunately they kinda ruined the exclusives by making the nicest handle on the standard model in CF, all the G10 variations will look downgraded, S30V is good enough for me so I'm good. On the other hand we can see wei...

Re: To decide between these 4 Spydercos..

I know I know. It’s another one of “those” threads. For what it’s worth, I have laboured over this decision for weeks. It’s kept me up at night (for real). I’m trying to decide between these four knives which happen to all be Spyderco products. Observe: -Vallotton -Caribbean Sheepsfoot SE -Military...

Re: First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

Hi all. Been Lurking for quite awhile. Signed up and still lurking. Looking at my first "good" knife. Narrowed it down to a Benchmade Griptillian or Spyderco Native 5. Leaning towards the Spyderco and today I see the Native 5 in SPY27 is back in stock on their website. I'm still learning steels (th...

Re: Spyderco ATR 2, a new best friend?

ATR2 was only PE.
Very cool knife, I guess loyalty killed this one, S30V made in Japan in that price range didn't attract lots of interest.

Re: It’s time for a Police LW Salt!!

Not happy anymore with Siren and Waterway :D ?
You might have a better influence in here, can I ask you to also suggest a LC200N Military PE/SE Yellow G10?
At least a Sprint, I'm sure it will sell-out quick.
