Re: Invitation to the 18th Spyderco Meet in Amsterdam

I’m sorry if my post has caused a stir, i didn’t think posting a few infos was forbidden as it was never clearly written (contrary to taking no pictures), I would have respected the rules.
Won’t happen again!

I was curious if the BBB collaboration knife made an appearance...
Yes it did.
Its classic fixed blade design with the nessmuk blade shape turned into a 3/3.5 folder with micarta handle and a linerlock.

Very cool.
Good question William.

Is it FFG?
Yep full flat

I think I can share that Spyderco is phasing out m398 on every current models and future, too brittle apparently.

Re: Magnacut

Hi Senate,

I believe we released a production Native 5 with a MagnaCut blade, and we introduced it as a "Salt", which blew a lot of minds. Our R&D lab, after much salt water testing (We have our own salt tanks, carefully maintained), we determined that the corrosion resistance was it's very ...

Magnacut

Let’s address the elephant in the room.
We’re noticing that a large number of brand on the market are releasing Magnacut blades, it’s become a selling point.
Only a mule release for now,
Why is Spyderco late to the game?

I wanna buy some Spyderco magnacut!

Hello Sal

despite the little flaw i love the knife.
could you be more specific as to what changes have been made?
and will the current knives in the wild will be able to receive these changes or it's a new redesign?
