Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

S110V...Works best with a coarse to med edge finish, something in the 320 to 800 grit range. Would you say that's like finishing sharpening/touching up with spyderco medium stone? Thanks The Med stones work very well. Just wondering, what grit would you use to polish m390, s110v, or elmax? Ive read...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

I can't think of any reason to choose M390 over S110V in the Military. Oh why's that? and youre the guy everyone is talking about!!!! Would you prefer the S110V pm2 over the m390 then? Or is there a lot more to this story? And thank you guys again. And dont worry Bodog and others, I got it. I perso...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

You guys are awesome, thank you all for the replies and feedback! I lowkey dropped hints at colors he prefers (I zoomed in on the blurple handle and asked if he would prefer this color on his tools over the blue one - he didn't like blurple very well LOL). As for the steels, I have really learned a ...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

Both are excellent steels. S110v will hold its working edge a bit longer but m390 will take a bit nicer edge with a bit less effort. S110v has a slight advantage in corrosion resistance in my testing but both are in the excellent range. I would choose m390 as I prefer its sharpening response. I als...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

I agree that you should let color be your guide. I personally prefer the smurf blue Bento exclusive, and it's been my work carry for 5 years now. Oh wow, 5 years!? do you have anything you dont like about it? and whats the most abusive thing youve done to your knife would you say? and thank you guy...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

Wow...what a lucky guy! :D Here's my advice...go to the nearest gas station and buy a $1.99 knife from the Big Ole Jar of Blades that's always on the counter between the dill pickles and the lighters...when he breaks up with you for getting him a rotten blade, PM me. ;) But seriously, both steels w...
