Re: Invitation to the 18th Spyderco Meet in Amsterdam

This went very fast! We're up to 70 sign-ups now, I will take on new registrations for the standby list.

Hi Wouter,

Any chance you can confirm Jerryl H. got in? He had some trouble getting the e-mail out and I just received a frantic phone call 😅

Thanks again for organising and see you in ...

Re: Amsterdam meet.

Thanks Kristi

The Amsterdam Meets are something quite special. The level of kindness and friendshipnes is unmatched.
It is sad to see Jurphaas go.
I hope the Amsterdam Tradition can continue.

Best regards.
Stefan

At this time, there is still a plan for a meet.

Very happy to hear this! I hope I’ll notice the invite in time, been too long since the last meet.

Re: Help me pick a Spydie flipper, please

I have Mantra 1 and 2 and the Advocate.
I have had the Positron, Sliverax and ZT 0450.

Particularly love the Mantra 2 and the Advocate, due to how slim they are and how pretty they look.
Sliverax was very slicey, but the angle of the blade was a bit weird to me.
Positron was a nice little flipper ...

Re: BHQ Military CPM M4 DLC Exclusive

They left out the Japanese models, Bob Lum Tanto and Chinese Folder.
Chinses folder is indeed still available.

Fair enough. So tell me (and the noobs) - what's the next M4/jade after this?

I guess it could be the Native.

Seems like the runs of DLC may be smaller than satin? The satin Millie ...

Re: If you could build your ideal Spyderco....

I'd like a front flipper with a compression lock and contoured micarta handles. Ti would be good too.
Standard edition with a steel that can be easily maintained and a sprint run in M390 or Maxamet (for example) and a different set of handles.

Re: Where is the new, improved Advocate?

Will the new washer and ball bearing set up fit in the original Advocate too?
I imagine it doesn't, but thought I'd ask anyway, for completeness.
