Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Looks like I just got the last SE from New Graham, thanks Beau!! I'm hoping that New Graham will get some more of these and I'm quite sure they will. They have been my "Go -To" dealer for some time now. I'm sure that everyone that really wants one bad enough will be able to obtain one. I ...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Having played with this knife for a day I had a thought.
You know what would have been a cool variant of this knife?
A “murdered out” SE Ayoob
Black G-10, all black hardware, black SE.
Now that would be a knife.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
I tried to read all the posts, but I may have missed a few... I am all in on another Ayoob. I did not have the original but did have the G-10 and stupidly let it go. I remember really digging the knife. I think the tip down clip is a deal breaker for many today. It is not for me, but for some they j...

Re: He-Man Military Lover's Club - Enlist Here
I'm in... Have had many over the years, but it took some time to warm up to it for me. Let me state my first was from the first run in the mid-90's I had a pre-order in for ever with Cutlery Shoppe way back. For some reason I kinda "got out of knives" for a few years and it arrived during ...

Hey did you just call me old. ; )
Thanks for the birthday wishes.
For the record I think I got my first Spyderco in like 1991... I guess that does make me old school.

Re: Any dog lovers?
Currently have a Doberman, Great Dane and a Jack Russell. Have had German Shepherds, and a couple of other Dobermans. Loved the GSD, but the hair... If you want a dog that cannot leave your side and has to be with you ever moment, literally attached to you, get an American Doberman. Frankly knowing ...

Re: Apple Watch
On my second Apple Watch. I have worn one for years. I find it useful, and the latest one I got (forgot which generation, but a year ago) has been pretty good. I am tempted by the one with the cellular service, however I never that far from my phone. If you have wifi, it will connect to your phone t...

Re: Neck Knives? Good or Bad?
The SPOT, like the LaGriffe, is a self-defense "get off me tool." The ARK is that too, but I find the other two more useful for me. If used for the intended purpose they are quite useful, but anything else not so much.
I'll take a look at Off The Grid. Thanks.

Re: Black Friday cyber Monday DEALs?!?
As noted, with MAP pricing becoming the norm with knife companies, big sales are kinda out. A few years ago you could count on cool sales, today you just get a ton of Kershaws for sale. Now a few companies have suspended MAP for Black Friday/Cyber Monday this year, and I think that would be a great ...

Re: Neck Knives? Good or Bad?
I want to love them, and I have tried over the years. They work, but only if you get the right knife and sheath, and in the right context. Unless you need a deep conceal and ease of draw is not a issue, they are not the greatest for self-defense carry. If you are rolling around on the floor with som...

Re: Yojimbo Love?
You know, can't think of what I would do to improve this knife. I have been on this train from the beginning and the 2 is darn near the perfection of the design. I can see it maybe being too small for really large hands but other than that I can't see any improvements. As for a lightweight version.....

Re: Road Trip Safety: What are your advices/recommendations?
Some Walmarts allow overnight parking but not all. This is mostly for trucks or RV's, and you are to ask the manager before hand. You can check this out on Youtube a few RV'ers have made videos on the subject. Myself, I would avoid traveling the country and sleeping in my car, too much can go wrong ...

Re: 9mm vs 40 S&W vs 45 ACP
Before I say this, I am a big bore revolver guy who carries a 10mm in the woods... I saw an article done by a reputable source (I don't have it handy so forgive me) about handguns used to defend against large bear attack, It reviewed documented use by caliber. Just about any larger caliber (9mm and ...

Got mine ordered and had the payment processing issue also. Check online and it seems fine and the payment has come out of my account. Glad someone else had the issue too as it made no sense.
