I’m fond of the older Jonsereds saws. I have a 111S, a 90, and a 621…….all in good shape and good working order. I just used the 621 the other day on a tree that the wind blew down across the neighbor’s driveway and was amazed at how good it still runs and cuts after all these years.

Not a bit of rust or corrosion that I could see. A light dousing with CLP and a little Tuf Glide should do the trick. I really hope I’m not the only one here that pulls these bonehead stunts!

One more for clipped into jean’s watch pockets. I thought I’d lost my fairly new K-390 until I pulled some clean pants from the closet before coming to work tonight. There it was, still clipped in the watchpocket after a trip through the washer and dryer.

I finally pulled the trigger on a Chap. LW and received it this afternoon. I already have the carbon fiber version, but just considered it too nice for everyday use. Dragonfly!

I have a Gerber EAB Lite folding utility knife on me almost all the time, and use Irwin or Lenox heavy duty blades. Very solid little knife, and I probably use it more than any knife I own. I doubt this type of knife would be much good for food....not enough blade length.

I use Break Free CLP or Dawn/hot water and a soft scrub brush to clean and degrease. The Dawn detergent works like a charm to remove any dirt and grease prior to dyeing if you're inclined to change colors. For lube, I really like Otis Technology Dry Lube.
