Hi all,
When attaching the wire clip to the FRN Dragonfly 2, which piece of the hardware assembly goes on the "clip side", the piece with the threads on the outside or the piece with the threads on the inside?
Thanks

Chaparral with a more comfortable lockbar like those found on the Dragonfly, Delica and Endura.

Re: FRN Delica 4 vs new FRN Chapperal
They're very different knives in terms of ergonomics, and the Chappie blade is really thin, which is great for most, bad for some (and in the case of the backlock, bad for thumbs). But that said, with the Delica price hike bringing it within spitting distance, and with the Chaparral's improved fit-...

The officially unofficial new Techno 2 thread!
I wanted to start a thread on this very important knife. Important for several reasons: 1. Thinner blade stock as requested and suggested by forum members. Thanks for listening Sal and Eric 2. The blue back spacer is gone yay! 3. knife is thinner and lighter overall 4. At least for the time being th...

Hi I live near Boston which has ridiculous knife laws and blade length is limited to just 2.5 inches so thank you for the opportunity and I hope to win!!!!!!

Re: Thinnest blades/grinds? Best slicers?
Considering EDC sized knives, it appears that the Techno has a blade about twice as thick as the Chaparral. How do they compare in terms of real world edc capability? Serious question, I don't own either.

I'll play. My Usher/Groomsmen gifts: Wallet, Dopp kit, engraved mug and engraved money clip. I gave money clips. For my next wedding I'd like to give Leatherman Micra's with a Fenix E05. Suggestions: Swiss Army Alox Cadet, Esee Zancudo, one of the smaller/ medium Leatherman microtools, or maybe a co...

Sage 5 question
Hi, I'm considering this knife.
My concern is that in the past they used red lock tite in this knife but with Spyderco's recent (wise) policy changes, they may no longer use the red for this model.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

Re: Please help me pick my next Spyderco
The Lil' Native is coming real soon. Comp lock, wire clip and 2.5inch ffg s30v blade. Lil Native....Possibly a gem but not for me. Blade is 3.3mm thick according to Blade HQ specs where it is currently out of stock. The Dragonfly's blade is only 2.3mm and potentially a much better slicer. I have a ...

It can be a humbling experience to find that your best slicing pocket knives are the twelve dollar Opinels. Still, my Spydie Dragonfly is right up there.

Re: Please help me pick my next Spyderco
Manix 2 lightweight. Blade must not exceed 3 inches for several local jurisdictions. Currently I have 2 knives with 3.25 inch blades that I can use occasionally and many under 2.5 inches for Boston with its ridiculous laws. I don't need any more 2.5 inchers. Now I'm looking for something in the 2.7...

Re: Please help me pick my next Spyderco
Hi folks, I did check out the PM3 at the local brick and mortar store. It's just not my style. Pretty heavy and I dislike the clip. Honestly I'd rather use a Delica than a PM3 and I'm not really a Delica fan. Much prefer the Dragonfly. I'd pick the Sage 5 right now but for two things: 1. It's not so...
