Re: Rhino

I certainly hope the price doesn't jump, and BD-1 is just fine with me. I'll be buying two, as I'm planning to give one to my surrogate nephew as his First Real Knife. The compression lock keeps inexperienced fingers nicely out of the blade path …

Sand in the Dragonfly

Hey all, My Dragonfly Salt goes with me when I go to the beach, and often comes back with some sand in it. Usually a quick rinse and a drop of oil is all it needs, but I had to take it apart last night to get it clean. The pivot came out just fine, but I could not get out the T6 screw holding the lo...

Re: Should i get a battlestation

We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. No! Not! Never! So bright... so beautiful... our precious. Aaargh! I am so weak. Mine is in the mail. Dangit, me too. Been on the fence with this model since it came out, and with the discontinuation and the current pricing, I just had to try one. S...

And that, I think, is perfectly fair. Cheers for a good discussion.

Re: Its Official the Delica 4 is Non-Threatening

That's a sample size of two. It's a fallacy to think that just because people think differently about one topic, they must think differently about all topics. I know plenty of self-identified "liberals" who grew up camping, fishing or hunting, appreciate good knives and tools, and carry a ...

Re: Its Official the Delica 4 is Non-Threatening

As a well-equipped East Coast liberal, and **** proud of it, I could flick a PM 2 at the table during family dinner and no one would bat an eye. So let's take it easy with the sweeping generalizations.

Re: Name the spyderco you can't pull trigger on

I'm intrigued by the Battlestation, which is a knife that doesn't get a lot of attention. I've had it in my shopping cart 4-5 times over the last year, and just can't push the button. I like short blades in substantial handles, so that's great, and I'm drawn to the funky design, but it looks like it...

Re: Prediction for the Efficient

I ordered a Para 3 and an Efficient on the same day about two weeks ago. Since I got them, guess which one has been getting more pocket time? The Efficient, by about 2:1. Don't get me wrong, I love the Para 3. It's an incredible ergonomic design, and an extremely well made knife with great materials...

Re: Rhino

I haven't been this excited for a new knife in a long, long time. I'm looking forward to the Rhino more than my Para 3, and a 3-inch version would be very appealing.

As would a textured titanium-scale version.

And a brown G-10 version - there's not enough brown knives out there.
