Re: Roadie: Tell Me About This Knife

1) Do you enjoy owning and using this knife? Yes. It is a great keychain knife with a robust blade that is shaped for good utility and performance. It also offers a full grip and plenty of security with the choil. 2) Do you think of it as having a particular application? In other words, what is it g...

Re: The Astute

The Astute is a fantastic design and a solid user even with its slim profile. I would like to see it with upgraded materials, maybe S35VN or M4 like the Tenacious. Also agree on more collaborations with Mr. Szakony; his design style works well with Spyderco's. ☝️This x100 Also, an Astute XL (same O...

…I'm planning the design in VG-10, CPM-Cruwear, K390 and a sprint in SPY27. I hope you like it. — sal Excited about the upcoming SXL Cruwear + G10 however I am still hoping for an FRN version as well as the others per Sal's post and maybe a salt version too! Re: CPM REX 45 | Edge Performance

I'm wondering if the chipping people are experiencing with Rex 45 is due to having not sharpened the edge enough to get rid of the burnt steel from factory grinding? I doubt Rex edges burn much. It's a heat-retardent steel I think that even though it is a temper resistant tool steel the thin cross-...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2

...I do think there is some place for an idiot proof design. There is more than enough demand for a knife that is chip resistant when you try to cut wire or hit a hard surface, the tip wont break when used like a screw driver, opens a box and is easy to sharpen with a $10 pull sharpener. https://im...

I voted other. I love Crucarta, but I'd like to see this model get Magnacut + micarta. Ikuchi Magnacarta for me.
Why not both!?!? :rofl
Seriously though, I think it is a solid platform for either combination. Maybe linen Micarta on the Salt version and canvas/burlap on the Cruwear. Dream big!
