I like the look but will need to get it in-hand before I commit to the $182 price tag...especially with all the other jewels in the reveal. Not sure what they are going to have for the other reveals!? :eek:

Caly 3.5 just fits better ergonomically for me and is tough to beat for blade:handle ratio.

Like the Astute but wish it was non-China. Rex 45, S45VN are cool. Wishing we knew more about SPY27, maybe Larrin will weigh in. K390 Ladybug + Watu, 100%.

+1 though it might be a hard sell given the available thicknesses of this high-cost, specialty Damasteel.

Burnt orange and hap40 for me. In either the 3 or 3.5

Based on the 3" with Hap40 I'd guess if we see something like this it would be a 3.5 with Green and Hap40 laminate.

Caly 3.5 in any flavor of smooth matte finished Micarta

i.e.

and SG2 or one of the HAP steels.

Anyone else hoping this comes in RWL34/CPM154? From what I've seen from BBB, Larrin and others CPM154 performs really well and it hasn't been used much by Spyderco, so I would love to get some especially in this platform.

I like the cruwear/micarta idea, but how well does micarta work on a linerless knife? I'd imagine it depends on scale thickness but I think it's not quite as stiff as similar thickness of g10. I like the look and feel of micarta but not if it ends up with scale flex. I'm pretty sure the unlined mic...

Along with several others, I'm hoping for SE DLC.

If it was a Jazz Delica maybe but this is a pass for me.

Here are some in hand comparisons with the Stretch 2 and Sliverax for comparison. My hand is about 3.5" across at the knuckles and I wear an L-XL size glove.

Better late than never but I'll put a vote in for the Urban. :D
