Re: Are we going to see a REX45 UKPK???

I would definitely be down for a REX45 in G10. It would likely replace the HH G10 one.

But, would be OK with FRN as well.

Re: My growing love for the Para3

Always in my rotation. It serves me well. But it is one of those models that comes and goes. And easy to gift. Got in on the initial release and used it a bunch. Let a friend use it. He really liked it, so there it went. Same with the LW model. If someone is really impressed with it, I have no probl...

Re: We already have the solution. Now what we need is to find the problem

... It seems to me that Spyderco manufactures wonderful solutions (and I hope that they will keep doing it for the next 200 years), we buy them ... and then we have to desperately search for the problem (for the solution that we just added to our pocket or our collection). ... I used to eat an appl...

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!

I like it. And grey!

Juggling releases. I think I am going to cancel my K390 Stretch pre-order, and try for this one.

Re: Bento Box Something Something....

I have been meaning to pick up another K390 PM2. Well, good. Glad they moved the inventory successfully. Wouldn't mind a Native 5 or a Military in K390.

Re: I'm having an issue with US made Spydies

Bummer. Most of my :spyder: are from Golden, and I pretty much disassemble all of my knives. Even most recently, Siren, CF Chief, and z-wear Shaman. And although I had some stubborn screws in the past, including the ones from the days of the red loctite, I haven't had the misfortune of stripping a s...

Re: Blade play doesn‘t adjust (PM2]

I understand the 'if it is just a little bit, just use it' crowd. But no! If you can't tighten down the pivot and lock the blade in place, then something is off.

I've had/have a few PM2s, and I have never had a pivot which I could not tighten.

Good luck!

Re: Colors - Talkin' Story - Marketing

My two favorite colors, and various shades of, are green and gray. All else being equal, I will pick the item in the color I like. But I wouldn't go as far as picking a less 'desirable' item just because of the color. When it comes to Spyderco knives, I do have a few in different colors. Including s...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Some new screws from Blades we love! Native Chief Rex45, hard to keep this one out of pocket Looking through this thread, lately one could get the impression the Chief in REX45 is Spydercos most popular model and their biggest seller... ;) (And the knife would actually deserve so perhaps anyway... ...

Re: Native Chief first and ongoing impressions thread

Away from home without the Chief, but here is a number I did on my PM2 scales a while back. The others I took down were not as dramatic, but still noticeable in hand.

Re: Native Chief first and ongoing impressions thread

Has anyone tried contouring the edges of the scales? I'd like to try but there really isn't much clearance around the body screws. Did it to my CF model. Took it apart and sanded both inside and outside under running water. Doesn't take much to increase the comfort. I would probably go further if i...

Re: Are Military's done?

My RIL CF/Ti is only 15 grams (0.034 oz) heavier than my G10 REX 45. For me, lot less noticeable on a 4.5 oz knife, compared to something sub 3 oz. Please Bring us more Military goodness! Starting with a Crucarta! Yes, I'm in for a new Military. 15g is 1/2 an oz (.529) not .034oz but you're right, ...
