Re: Favorite fidgety locking system?

Depending on how the day goes, every knife I carry gets played with to some degree. Call it fidgeting, I call it getting familiar with the knife.

If I only used one knife, this would be a less of a thing. If it was a traditional slip-joint, it wouldn't be a thing at all. But as I use a variety of ...

Re: What’s on your current short list?

Couple of years ago here, it was the Caly 3.5. Well, still don't have one. I thought there would be some movement on this front - new variant, new generation.

The list today,
- Caly 3.5
- Bodacious in tool steel
- Sage 6

Re: What are your top 5 Spydercos right now?

Lately, these are the ones always out; not stashed away; always ready to grab.

Military - Any hike and always around the camp. Works great in back pocket. Once the right Bodacious comes out, there will be competition.
PM2 - Need I say more. If it is not on me, it is always a backup in the ...

Re: Bodacious Discussion

Seriously difficult to resist. I was willing to wait for M4, Cruwear, or the like, but will likely pull the trigger on SPY27.

Re: My three favorite Spyderco folder designs

Sounding like a broken record here, but these three models cover all my EDC needs. PM2, Native5, and the Military. Waiting on the right Military 2 to mix it up a bit.

Keep - PM2
Try - something expensive from Taiwan
Retire - Manix 2 LW
Keep - PM2 K390
Try - Bodacious in tool steel
Retire - still Manix 2 LW. Big fan of the G10 version, just not the LW.

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!

I do carry the M4 frequently. The hollow grind is a joy to use.

I did not go for the Cruwear version, but I would be willing to jump on the next one. 4V would be a buy for me.

you'd rather walk over to the other room to retrieve your knife... you might be a Knife Enthusiast.

I'd be either a naked knife enthusiast or a ballerina, because if I'm wearing pants, I don't need to walk to the other room. My knife is in my pocket.

No judging, whether you're a nudist or ...

Sage 5 on Greg Minaars tire is a sight I would not exactly have expected to see on this forum, but I guess I should have, it's a great combo!
Seems like most people here have more than one hobby/passion. As such, we try to find the best.

If you need to separate something. The knife is in the other room. The scissors are right there in front of you. If you'd rather walk over to the other room to retrieve your knife... you might be a Knife Enthusiast.
