Balance. Don't know why they clipped this one, would be nice without the holes.

I think the Endura and Delica are two of the best EDC folders on the market, except for two things: 1. The ergonomics 2. The saber grind I'm curious. If you don't like the ergonomics or the grind, what do you like so much about these knives that you consider them two of the best EDC folders on the ...

I used a 3/32" allen to crank down LowTEC's pivot before I sent it north.

I used a damp cloth and a dot of metal polish. It was a very slow process. It's possible I took the copper off, but I did take it nice and slow, and I never saw anything that looked like the other pictures I've seen.

They're all beautiful, but I prefer the silver look to the copper. Makes the Spyder really "pop". These were almost black from oxidation when I got the knife.

Could wash it with hot soapy water. Just make sure to rinse and dry well.

Wipe off the excess oil with a clean, soft cloth. Repeat as necessary.

Clip variation on the Cento II?

Excellent pics. To my eye, the C25 is the stabbiest model Spyderco ever made. I've seen at least one Centofante II (G10 w/ SecureLock) that had a different clip; only 2 screws and the top was cut out such that you could get to the pivot without removing the clip. Anybody know what the story is there?

They have that, it's called New Graham Knives. :D

Slight rant, un-sharpness

I ordered one of these from NGK on Friday, and it arrived on Monday. Once again, NGK sets the standard. Most of what I have to say about the knife has already been said in this thread. Love the thinness, great fit and finish, very snappy opening, sharp as a bowling ball. OK, the bowling ball remark ...

Thanks for the info ATR216, just ordered one myself. Can't have too many of these, they are cutting machines, and at that price a sound investment.

Before the Salts came out I used to carry a VG-10 Endura as my running knife. It started to show rust spots after a couple of months. The Pacific Salt show absolutely no discoloration, and it's been IWB a lot longer than the Endura was.

I only carry tip up, because it keeps the pivot clean. But as regards getting the knife out of my pocket, open and into use, I don't have a strong preferance. I can make either work for me well.

Dual action shall be a kind of asisted opening? Dual action means that you can open it with the button (automatic), or you can thumb it open with the hole. Nice thing about double action autos is that it allows a more PC opening of the knife. So if you're at the office you can still thumb open your...
