I must say that this discussion and the Spyderco forum in general is another huge reason I’m loyal to Spyderco. Thank you very much Sal.

Screws colored black could not have had anything to do with rust, Screws on the older models were Titanium as were the stand offs.
The hardware on the older models were titanium? I wasn’t aware of this.

Re: Spydiechef in stock at BladeHQ.

Looks like the same black hardware as the Native Salt, possibly CQI from some possible rust issues.

Spydiechef in stock at BladeHQ.

My local dealer got some in today as well. I picked one up and it has black hardware. All of the models that my dealer had were the same. Wow!!

Universal Stone Holder for KME and Lansky

Does anyone know if the Universal Stone Holder for KME and Lansky can hold sharpmaker rods? The one I’m looking at is sold by Grit O Matic. Thanks!

Anyone have news on when the spydiechef will be back in stock?
I felt like I was forgetting a model. The Spydiechef was LC200N. I hope the Spydiechef is restocked soon. I missed out and want one bad. I’m sure they will not last long.

Re: Slysz Swayback

My guess would be CTS-XHP. I believe all of or most of the Spyderco/Slyzs collaborations have been CTS-XHP.

Re: Slysz Swayback

The Swayback is rumored to go into production in January. A member of the Facebook group supposedly spoke with Eric at the gathering. I’m hoping this is true.

I’m in the 120ish neighborhood. I’ve been building a collection for several years now. Most were bought with overtime. All folders.
