Para 3

I’ve had a Para 3 for a couple years now and picked up a “spare” on Amazon when they were on sale last week. The handles between the two are identical. The only difference I see is the blade on the new one is a satin finish with more rounded edges, as opposed to sharper edges and a brushed finish fr...

Mmmmmmmmm, peanut butter and banana sandwich. The secret ingredient, though (withhold judgement until you try it) is to put a little mayo on it. It gives it a perfect amount tanginess. Time to go find the bananas.....

I'm in for two or three. I had to put myself on a Spydie moratorium (figured the kids should be a little more important than the knives), but I'll gladly break it for a couple more Dodos!

I would try the Tales of the Otori series by Lian Hearn. It's set in feudal Japan. The series starts with "Across the Nightingale Floor". I've read the first three (listened, actually) and they were great. Just found out there is a fourth and final book. Can't wait to finish out the series...

Arrived!

I ordered 3 Black Bladed Para's on 1/11 for about $25 a piece and all three arrived today. As far as I can tell, they're good to go. However, I just looked to see what they have now, and can't find any Spydercos listed at any price.

Here is something quick for breakfast: Don't know what it is called but it is quick and good. 2 slices of bread (I prefer whole grain) 2 eggs Butter Cut a hole out of the center of each slice of bread large enough to contain one egg. Spread butter on both sides of each slice of bread. Put the bread...

Okay, I've just been all over Leatherman's website looking for the "menacing" bladed knife but can't seem to find it. Will somebody please be kind enough to help find this for me. I would like to add it to my collection along with my "lethal, tactical, deadly" Jester. Oh, and whi...

:spyder: Do you mean the polywog does not compare in fit and finish? :spyder: I would say it most definitely does. I have both the Stretch and the Poliwog, and while I like the thinness and and size of the Stretch, I was a little disappointed in the fit and finish of it. The Kraton insert was not c...

Real :spyder: collectors are very aware that the kick of the blade will show if the knife has been opened and closed. The best way to preserve the pristine condition is to put one finger between the blade and the handle when you close the knife . When the momentum of the blade was stopped by your f...

All of them...

Since the house and, by default, your knife collection, may not be there when it's over, I think it's best to have all of them. :D That would definitely be enough to hold you down! But on a more serious note, I think I would want my Dodo; I just love that little thing.

Spyderco Kiwis at good price

For those of you who don't have one of these cute little boogers, I recommend getting one. This is the best price I've seen ebay or otherwise. Last time I checked they had 6 in stock at $60 plus free shipping.
