Re: Pivot screw Dragonfly Salt

Yeah I think I've mentioned before that the Dragonfly is IMHO one of Sal's perfect designs. But I'd forgotten about that non-D shaped pivot hole in the FRN. That's definitely something in need of CQI attention. The first Spydie I fitted custom scales on was a Dragonfly. Arrrgh, what a frustrating e...

Re: H1 SE Tatanka LW Salt Anyone???

While we're throwing out idea's, how about a Tatanka based hawkbill the SpyderRaptor? i would be all over that. I love my Spyderhawk and recently purchased a backup. I've been wanting a Spyderhawk XL as well as a Fixed Blade Spyderhawk XL. Have you checked out the G Sakai H1 knives? https://s...

Now if we can just convince Eric & Sal to make a Japanese style gardening knife like the real thing
That looks exactly like a duct knife, pretty cool

Re: A Spyderco "Throwing Pocket Knife".

My guess is that you would be screwed either way. The common man is stuck in the middle between an unjust court system, laws created to generate revenue, people perpetrating violent street crime, and violent police reaction......just my .01 worth. I agree, you would probably be screwed either way b...

Lots of bad advice on California laws here. Pathetic.
Would you prefer everyone to be a victim because they can't protect themselves legally? I'd rather have a fighting chance and take my chance in court if i ever had to use it. Better than being dead right? ;)

Re: A Spyderco "Throwing Pocket Knife".

Yes I am aware bullets will always travel faster, but for us folks who can't conceal carry (California). All I can hope for is a nice knife in my pocket, and being the Spyderman that I am I have many including the Spyderthrowers  . But my idea is to have a regular concealable folding knife th...

They still have dessert camo zone enduras for $63 on woot. I'm surprised they haven't sold out. I'm tempted and I don't even like the scales.

Yes, all my G10 or CF Manix 2 get an additional standoff in the back :) Easy enough with Manix 2 sprints as the sceletonized liner has a hole in the right place. Like this:

That's awesome, i think i remember your pic of the DLT exclusive with that extra screw.

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage

All three have ceramic bearings now, too. Interestingly, the new cage/bearing fixed the XL (s90v) lock-stick that I couldn't fix before. And the cage is more accessible, which was a problem with the fat Cuscadi scales before. https://photos.smugmug.com/Picture-a-Week/2019/Manix-2-Metal-Cages/n-knxZ...

Re: What happened to the flat-ground Rescue?

They're out already Then why are they not listed on Spyderco's website along with their other stock  I'm pretty sure they didn't change the model number so sites might not know exactly which version they have. If you want one you might have to call and check if it's the saber ground or FF...
