Opening hole in Salt I and Pac Salt?

I see in the Catalog specs that the opening hole in the Salt I blade is 14mm (I have one and like it a lot) but on the Pac Salt it's 12mm (on order but now the 12mm hole puts me off somewhat). Is that correct. If so, why on earth did Spyderco put a smaller opening hole on the bigger knife? I like th...

Sal, I posted the same question in May and you said a Gunting shipment went off to Ramrod in South Africa at the end of May. Nothing has reached Ramrod by 13 July. I know for a fact that Ramrod has long ago placed orders for the Gunting (I placed my first order with in Nov 2000 and subsequently conf...

Is it a Matriarch (which is already available) or is it a large Merlin or larger Matriarch?

The Matriarch blade measures 3.8in if you measure straight (not along the curve), so I wonder if this a new knife or a Matriarch?

I don't understand the situation at all - since the Shot Show (and G's were even available long before that)the local agent received at least three Spyderco shipments but no Guntings. One trainer got here, which I bought. On every shipment the agent expects to have G's but no luck. I would really li...

FTK & Stare The Wegner definately has a liner lock. The reports I read mostly indicated that the users of the Wegner are very happy with the knife. I had one large and one small for about 4 - 6 months (about 18 monts to 2 years ago) and got rid of it because the Liner Lock Bar moved over just to...

The compression lock is actually situated at the pivot end of the knife but with access to the lock on the spine of the handle. I am very impressed with compression lock on my Gunting. I am also very impressed with the liner lock on my Mil (which I have had for the last 2 years and I recently bought...

Only one thing better than the Hole is the Hole combined with the Ramp (eg GUNTING).
