THIS THREAD FREAKING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got done with my first cobra. I think I got too much on the loop, the knot is 10 twists long, and the loop is 5 1/2" lol But it came out looking great. Would love to see this get a sticky... ;) The ACU cord looks cool, wish I could say the same ...

AHHHHH, you beat me to it Dodge!

Your 2nd idea is just what I was thinking about while reading this thread. Use the small hole in the middle of the clip. Have glow in the dark discs with the Spyderco symbol on each side that screw together through the hole.

Great minds think alike!

Was there something wrong with my post, it seems to have been deleted? :( Anyway I prefer fine fit over finish. Finish is something most people can do to thier preference on thier own. If an edge is too sharp hit it with some sand paper or a run on a strop. If the handle feels too rough rub it on yo...

Don't quite understand what you mean. All knives you mentioned have basicly the same clip design, it just differs some on how it's attached. How does the Manix differ and how is it catch proof? It's when something is caught on the tip of the pocket clip and tears it either forward or backwards tryi...

Anyone wish for different clip?

My Endura and Native both have over torqued clips that were caught on one thing or another. I try not to have it "out there" when I go through, around, under... objects but they still catch on things from time to time. Has anyone ever wished these great blades came with a more "catch ...

Only way I can think to describe it is thus, Since the edge is bent/curved there is actually more cutting length than there is overall blade length. This give the knife more cutting power compaired to a traditional blade with the same overall blade length. And the shape prevents the material being c...

Hook me up with a 5" PE harpy with FRN/CF handles and either VG10 or H1 steel.

CPM is cool but it does add to the cost.

I knew someone that did that trick. He put a strip of leather along the edge, then wrapped it with eletrical tape. Put about an 1/8 of an inch on it. Well it worked for 1 pass. Then the whole thing slid/sliced off the blade and the next pass he put a long deep cut right into the neck area of his foa...

Manix Trainer?

In a hurry so here's the short of it,

Who'd buy a Manix trainer to go with thier new tank of a knife? Seems people are crazy over these super knives, would a trainer version be succesful? I know I'd get one.

I'd like to see the Manix get the same finish options as the Military. Some troops prefer the black blade for both looks and glare reduction.

I can't wait till it gets here. :D

The first handle jumped out at me screaming, "Pikal only!" The second looks like I could be even more uncomfortable since there is even less material for your hand to grasp. The thrid looks like it would make a good recuse knife handle. The flat pomel could be used to smash windows. And it...
