Re: Re: Name a Spyderco knife you thought you would like but didn't once you owned it.
Native 5. I loved the old native's blade for the aggressive grind and swedge, which gave it a very distinctive look. I thought I'd be fine with the FFG on the new version, but it doesn't really excite me. I have the neversummer model with LC200N, and love the steel so I clip it to my pocket now and ...

Re: Convince me on the Police3...
Thanks all - those are some very good points, and I appreciate you taking the time. I have never held any of the police models, but if the blade is thin like my hap40 Endura, I have reason to get excited about it. Corrosion resistance is a good point too, some of my carbon steel fixed blades do occa...

Convince me on the Police3...
Hello all, I have the opportunity to buy the discontinued police 3 G10 PE for around $130, brand new. It's a knife I have looked at for a while, but never pulled the trigger on. I regularly carry Enduras and Manix2 LWs, but do like a long, slim blade. I am on the fence, wait for the police4 or get t...

Re: C41NSPSRD5 - Native 5 Never Summer Exclusive - Available NOW
Hi, everyone: In fairness, we didn't ship the knives to Never Summer until just before Christmas (a few days before) and with the holiday I'm sure they didn't have much of a chance to start shipping the knives out. We've reached out to our contacts just to see how things are going. We appreciate yo...

Re: Spyderco Knife of the Year 2016
Nirvana, all the way. It's production price may be too high for me, but the photo of the one that was picked up at the SFO second's sale is the reason I will be going next year. Runner up, in my $$ ballpark, and also currently in my pocket is the Cru-Wear PM2. Thanks to Spyderco CQI the running prod...

Re: The PERFECT EDC knife is...
For me it has always gone:
1- Manix2 Lightweight (S110V/XHP)
2- Endura4 (HAP40/ZDP)
3- Tasman Salt SE
But I recently acquired my first PM2 (Cruwear, yeah!), and wearing a Casey clip it is seeing more and more time in pocket. That compression lock is just so... Good.
