Why would all, or a large majority of the Spydercos with higher quality steel have such light colored scales, that get super dirty fast? I haven't owned many G10 knives, mostly FRN till now, are they just easy to clean up with a brush and dish soap, so no biggie? I was gonna grab a M4 Manix or a Cru...

Pretty sure when I grab the DLC this will replace every other knife I own lol. Question though, as a legit EDC user (but still babied, lol) would these scales get pretty gnarly dirty, pretty fast? I've heard the cru wear pm3 is bad, but not sure if these scales would be any better?

They should bring Super Blue back for a sprint of something, I think it's one of Spyderco's best Japanese steels. I wish I could say that I agree. Going to keep reading a bit on it, but sounds like the upkeep is both worth it, and no where near as bad or tedious as I read!

Just got what I think is a smoking deal on a Stretch in super blue. This knife feels like it was made for my hand, and in, from everything I've read, an amazing steel, but...sounds like it is a "needy" steel as well. Any recommendations on upkeep/care for it from people with them? Worth it...
