Thankx for the well wishes Mike. I'm in the process of preparing to move back home to Kona, Hawaii. Very homesick. I see from another thread that Travis is now another of Spydercos many "former employees." I hope his move was a positive one. Your new work digs sound right up your alley, Mi...

Howdy Mike~ While visiting the new website I've noticed that there is no longer an MBC Forum. I also can't find the schedule for your classes. As it was Spyderco that joined with you in creating the whole MBC concept, I find it odd that they have chosen not to promote the program on their website wh...

No, no model (that I know of) named "Liner Lock." I was speaking of the mechanism itself. I, personnaly, find it easier to use than the top lock or compression lock.

I shared Barry's wish for the "Q" to be brought back or improved upon. He brought his article over to SFO 4-5 months ago and asked me to proof read it and let him know of any other info on the subject. All I had to contribute was the little flyers that Ironstone had made up for the Hawaiia...

Greetings~
I'm not positive, but I believe the little books that were inserted in the box with the knives were called "PDR'S." I remember a blue one and a green one. The green one was more informative as it had the Steel Chart in it.

If I remember correctly, the "C" stands for "Clip-it." The Flat Iron Folder
was made especially for Ironstone Distinctive Bladeware. The full model number is #IS CFIFPS (IronStone..Clipit..FlatIronFolder..Plain/Serrated).

4 s ter~ Mahalo for the well wishes. tbarahon~ I like your suggestion of the name "Hot Pepper" for a larger Salsa. The knife was quite popular with the hunters because of its wide belly. I lived in Monterey, Calif. for several years back in the 60's....Pacific Grove actually....right up th...

Greetings~
The Ironstone Store in Hawaii with the web address www.fe3stone was actually Ironstone 2 (the original Ironstone being in Colorado). The island store existed for about 3 years. It was closed around the year 2000.
SFO's address in Colorado is sfo@spyderco.com.
