Re: Cricket Lightweight
I have been asking for a revamped Cricket LW for quite a while but I didn’t think that it would happen. Including friends and family, it would be a multiple buy knife for me if Sal were to put his magic touch to any new version that’s also SE.

This kind of freaks me out and makes me sad at the same time. Always trust yourself and trust your instincts.

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
Wasn't worth $300 back then, not worth $450 now I agree. I passed on the SB when they were originally for sale. Not interested now. I have plenty of other Ti framelock knives that make me happy. However, the SB apparently makes a lot of other people happy. Obviously, based on this latest run, it's ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I saw vivi's post about not many people carrying Military 1s on this thread so I wanted to give a shout out to the 52100 Military that I am carrying today. I don't really post pics but it is in my pocket for more days than not and I couldn't be happier. I can keep it both razor sharp or hone it to a...

Re: thoughts on a Spyderco Machete
I like the idea in theory but given manufacturing costs and recent price increases it doesn’t seem like something that I could afford to buy.

Re: Upping the price.
Very interesting discussion, and yes, I've been following it, and will participate. We don't like the high prices either and we're always considering the paths to take. I guess I should begin with China. I usually avoid politics in this forum, and I appreciate that we've been good about that, but a...

A quick glance says around $1500.

Re: If laws and public perception were no issue, would you carry a different knife?
I have essentially no public knife laws where I live, carry and use are based on public perception. I will carry a large knife and I will use whatever blade size I need for the job but I won’t go brandishing a Military in public without an obvious need for that size of knife. I am very aware if some...

Re: River's Edge PM2
Been gone awhile and just started to get back into my knife collecting and have been learning/narrowing it donw to the PM2 as I have never owned one. I wish I would have started back into the spydies a few months ago, I would have jumped on one of these as well. Been looking at them on Ebay and try...

I swore off buying anymore Spydies when they introduced MAP pricing and after every price increase in between. It hasn’t worked out so well for me.

Re: dragonfly lc200n wharncliffe?
I love my K390 wharncliffe d-fly. It pairs really well with the Military for me in those instances where I need a knife for a small task like opening a small package, or a bag of chips and such in a public place. I would personally like to see a green lc200n version but given all of the wharnies rec...

Re: So about the Kahr Delica type/shape?
The site says the knife is on back order. Does anybody know how long it takes 5x5 to fill the back orders? I had a Kahr Arms Delica that I regret selling. It’s a really handy design with some serious cutting power. I grind every JanDelica myself in response to orders from 5x5. They are a small busi...

Re: A copper spyderco
I like the idea of a copper lil native along the lines of what RLR posted but with REX45 (are you listening BHQ?) or M4 to patina with the copper. Copper scales would be too heavy for me to carry under most circumstances unless it was a small knife. I do like the idea of somehow incorporating an Ind...

Re: Janisong not available in US?
I have tried to order one from Europe before and the site blocked shipping to the US. I live in an open carry state with essentially no knife laws but I can’t own a Janisong. It’s very weird.

Bento Box Shop has both the Para 3 and PM2 in K390 if you don’t mind compression locks and paying a steep premium.

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
From everything that I’ve read about him or from Gayle Bradley himself I am surprised that anything endorsed by him isn’t M4. It’s an interesting choice by BHQ to switch steels from their normal exclusives away from a steel that’s preferred by the original designer.
