Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I cancelled my order as well. I should have known that it wasn't possible to make production knives using authentic rosewood. I believed the hype because I wanted to. I am just glad that they were finally out front with the scale material and gave people the opportunity to back out.

Re: Sun/Moon Chappy

I wonder how hard this variation will be to obtain? I'm contemplating pre-ordering one after pondering it all weekend. You fear it WILL be hard to option actually, despite being regular production? Hmmm, this post has me confused. Not sure how to decipher it........ :p Maybe my lack in the En...

Re: TKJ Spyderco exclusive cruwear ????

Another unannounced pre-sell and this one in the middle of Sunday night/Monday morning? Following his other overnight pre-sell with an extremely limited run and a two knife limit? Holy cow, this guy is a flipper's dream. His exclusive drove my interest to his site but the way that he has handled his...

Re: Spydies that U R saving up for

I can't believe the number of orange knives coming out. I realize that it's color coded to the steel but if you aren't a fan of orange scales your options from this reveal get narrowed down in a hurry.

Re: Sprints

Regardless of whether it's legal or not, this all sounds like a tremendous waste of law enforcement's time over a few people missing out on a pocket knife.

Re: Sprints

I personally feel that there is far too much monitoring, marketing and both corporate and government meddling in my life already. I would rather miss out on a few knives than add one more layer of someone tracking my purchases.

I have never used a straight razor but if Spyderco made one then I would give it a try.

Re: Para 3 cs clone?

It looks right to me. I believe the DLC tends to tone down the color of most scales.

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

I guess we can listen to you complain about the CF laminate or the high price? Methinks the higher price is a bigger problem, so we go with the laminate. sal i'm definitely happy with the laminate. +1. I have it on my GB and I have enjoyed using it. I have not had any problems with the laminate at ...

Re: TKJ Spyderco exclusive cruwear ????

Missed out. What a way to wake up. Glad to see they did 2 per household on such a low quantity knife so everyone can get their extra to flip!! Guess the Knife Joker moniker fits! After the Cru-Carta fiasco I have stopped trying to get one of these crazy limited runs. There are a lot of good k...

I haven't seen much chatter about it but I am intrigued by the Bombshell. I just hope they don't place numbers on the blade.

This is the release that I have been waiting for. I love the concept of creating a knife representing celestial balance and the Tao. Well done.

FWIW, I spoke to 'Barry', a customer service rep at KC. His quote to me was "It's a full wood not a laminate".

Military Family Sprint Runs?

I wonder if there has been any discussion of running a sprint with the entire Military family that would be similar to what Spyderco does with the Seki line up. I know that there are a lot of offerings for the PM2 and the Para 3 with the same scale/steel combo but it would be nice to see the Militar...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I let go of the St Nick's version but I went ahead and pre ordered this one. I love the steel and I really like the look but I don't have a lot of experience with wood scales. How is the grip if it gets wet? Does the stabilized wood perform similar to Micarta?

Well ....if you have to ask.....look at the quotes...it is barely veiled racism. Nobody was racist. You clearly only saw what you wanted to see and that says more about you than them. Bullying people into erasing and censoring history is something that terrible regimes are known for doing and is a ...

Re: The best thing about a knife is ...

Tom, do you ever use a strop or UF stone? I'm kind of surprised you've had to typically "saw" through cardboard with any steel you've used. Maybe you don't take your sharpening to the next step before leaving the house with said knife? I find the best thing about a knife is to always have it razor ...

Re: Sal's Casual Bombshell Thread

Guy, this is NOT the place to converse with each other about what Sal has said. It has become tedious to find what’s new. Weird title for the thread, then. You’d think “what Sal has said” is exactly what we’re supposed to be conversing about. No. Go talk about it in the thread where he originally p...
