Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

I have been seeing people lately in the stores shopping with masks and gloves on. So I just dunno. Might be a good idea or not yet? Just went to the store and a work meeting. I’m finally used to wearing a mask when I’m out. I really don’t think I need to filter, but it sure keeps me from...

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

So i’ve been working from home for a week. My daughter started a fever on Thursday night. About that same time I started with a mean sore throat and my headache went nuclear. So we spent the last 3 days resting and getting better. Daughter has no fever today. I didn’t get a fever. I only had a minor...

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

My doctor is following the state dept of health’s guidelines. The state won’t test me without a doctor referral. Sure, I could fight with them or doctor shop until I get tested. Not gonna do either. If they were as worried about this as they claim they would test anybody who is very sick. Still mis...

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

Well, we are on mandatory lockdown for 3 weeks in sf Bay Area. I’m not essential enough to go to the office for work. Working from home. Still have enough work to keep me busy. I’m more worried about what happens after the 3 weeks. 3 more weeks? They going to starve me to death and kill the busines...

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?

Haven’t been on here in a while. Schools are closed for 2 weeks or a month depending on the school. I’m in NorCal and we have the virus in the community. News reports say 5 cases in my county. Doc friend says one hospital has more cases than than that already But docs can’t talk to news, etc. Sounds...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Just food for thought. 49ers finished the season better than the chiefs for total offensive yard per game and average points per game. Jimmy g passed for almost 4,000 yards this season. It might be a balanced offense or they might keep the ball out of mahones hands for long stretches. That's not ev...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

This game is tricky as helll to predict imo. I honestly think the game rides on Jimmy G's shoulders IF......IF Jimmy G performs great, then I think the Niners may just win it. If he doesn't, then the Chiefs may win COMFORTABLY Yes, imo, its gonna take more than what the Niners did to Green Bay to b...

Congrats JD on your chiefs going to miami.
With a 27-0 half, looks like you will likely be meeting my 9ers. (Knock on wood).

Re: Fellow reptile lovers??

We frequent the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, which is like a reptile zoo. I’ve had bearded dragons, tree frogs and such over the years. My step daughter got the sweetest rosy boa there a few years ago and I’m often back buying food. It’s not uncommon to see really big snakes or monitor lizards at ...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Coach of the year doesn’t count the playoffs. Vrabel won’t win with a 9-7 record. Shanahan will win. Took a 4 win team to the #1 team in the nfc. It’s no contest. Why wouldn't Mike Vrabel's miraculous playoff wins factor into his being qualified as "NFL Coach Of The Year" ?? I ...

Re: Design details that are deal breakers

Only deal killer for me is a pocket clip that lands on the lock bar on a frame lock. Either the clip is loose or you have to bend the lock bar and clip to disengage the lock. Terrible. Drunken and lil lionspy are examples. Won’t buy either, ever.

Consider a straight spine stretch. Very pm2 like but with a backlock and frn handle. It’s excellent and suggest you give it a try.

Mods, please close this thread. The discussion is not following the intended subject. Thanks. I think Ankerson broke Vivi. I can understand that. Jim has been on ranting tear lately. Vivi, if you read this, come back when you are ready. We are better with you in our ranks than without you. We will ...

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

Was buying led can lights for the house a while back and talking to the guys at the lighting supply. They mentioned that not all led’s are built the same. Longevity is heavily reliant on heat dissipation and the plates that they use to disperse the heat. Cheap led’s have thin plates and don’t last l...

Re: Straight Spine Stretch

Support the base model if you want sprints and exclusives. Same with all the people crying for a shaman.. buy the base model to support further variations. Well, this isn’t a base model. There is no base model straight spine stretch. This is a sprint, and I actually said I *was* waiting on a base m...
