Re: Official 2018 Catalog Discussion

Nice catalog. Lance the Waterway looks outstanding! I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a Street Bowie with an uncontested blade. A sprint run would be nice ;)

Re: Sal's Casual Bombshell Thread

But you won't see too many G-10 models coming from Seki in the future, at least in pocket knives. Most will go to FRN, for which they excel, like the new Police 4. sal Wait... what?!? Sal, did you just say that there will be an FRN Police 4 in the future? Has that been talked about before and I som...

Re: New Models Dropped: Salt 2, Fish Hunter

What do you guys prefer about the old handle? I prefer, slighty, the new texture, but I like the slightly shorter length of the old handles. The differences are small though, for me. Assuming the new handle is the same as the Delica 4, I prefer the old style because it wasn't as long, the blade to ...

Pacific Salt. Light, long, and sharp. What's not to like?

Re: What collaborations would you like to see?

I don't know if he has an exclusive with Kabar, but I would love to see a folder by Jesse Jarosz. He already licenses the Spydie-hole and Compression-lock on some of his customs. I am a big fan of his and Spyderco so this would be my wish.

I like the one I got for my wife and she does too. The scales both look nice but are totally different. Such is the nature of the beast. I can't wait for the FRN version now.

Re: Color Poll for the Chaparral Light Weight

I see the other models of Chaparral as the gents folder, the lightweight is more of utility knife. Had that thought myself. I'm not really looking at the frn Chap as a gent's knife when they come in CF, Ti, and RN. Color-wise I'd like a red/maroon/burgundy too but could only pick three for the poll...

Re: Holes in the Spydie range?

Fixed blades in the "economy" price bracket. For the last 3 months I have been weighing beet and brassica crops, using a blade to trim the bulbs and remove tops for samples. Also digging/scatching for grass grub, an insect which eats grass roots and lives in the top 2-4 inches of soil. my...

I did not mean to imply that it's never necessary to take one apart, just that I personally don't need to. I can definitely see where there would be circumstances that would require it. To each his own and all that.
